Alexis is Ashley's younger sister. They have previously been teammates on a summer recreational ultimate frisbee team, co-workers at Hoofbeat Ridge summer camp, and have always loved spending time together on Stahnke family vacations. Although neither of them have danced since elementary (Ashley) or high school (Alexis), they have recently had fun making some high-quality TikTok's together.

Sean is Derek’s younger brother. While the pair started off well young, Derek did everything in his power be a grumpy moody teen, leading to some bickering. As high school and college progressed the brothers became great friends. They were able to work together at Camp Kern for many summers, travel to see each other in new cities, and even make the pilgrimage to Pittsburgh to see the Steelers play with their dad. Their mom always demanded they had to be friends- which, unfortunately for her, worked. Leading us to today, where the two talk more frequently than they call their mom (Sorry mom, love you)

Ashley and Kennedy have been friends since middle school where they met when riding the bus together each day. They have been close friends ever since and even got to be co-workers for two summers during college while working at Hoofbeat Ridge summer camp. Favorite memories from our friendship include creating silly dance videos together (including a dance devoted to math), trying to fry yogurt, and bonding on the daily drives to and from Hoofbeat.

Ashley and Raya became friends during their freshman year at Miami University when they lived in the same dorm (there ain't no party like a Porter party). They were later roommates and have been able to reconnect multiple times since college when Ashley and Derek make the trip to Ohio to visit the Brantighams. Favorite memories include watching The Bachelor every Monday night, getting make-your-own pizzas from Red Brick, and picking out outfits when Molly would inevitably convince us to go uptown.

Daniel and Derek met at Sunday School during what can only be described as their primes- around 5th grade. They’ve been friends since, despite Derek’s lack of communication skills, leading to memories like a surprise visit to DC, a flat tire on the way to a Columbus Crew game, and surprising a neighbor when Derek forgot where the Bonavitas lived. Those Bonavitas, chiefly Daniel, also get credit for Derek’s love of Catan and Good Will Hunting.

Molly was one of Ashley's first friends at Miami University as they lived across the hall from one another freshman year. They were later roommates and shared many fun adventures at college. Favorite memories from our friendship include being gifted a free Edible Arrangements after the delivery man heard us loudly talking about the product, creating a one-night only podcast, and hosting extravagantly themed parties (ranging from a Superbowl party to beer olympics).

Hayden is Derek’s cousin. They met each other for the first time back in 2008 at the Wisconsin Dells when Lake Delton escaped and Sean had an appendectomy. The two events were never proven to be related. While the two have never lived closed by, it was always exciting (at least for Derek) to have a cousin to look forward to seeing around the holidays and family trips. While Derek may be more stubborn, Hayden has taken the argumentative title for himself. If you ever need someone to irritate or elate Hilary (Aunt to Derek, Mom to Hayden), Hayden is your guy.

Ashley and Tia have been good friends since 6th grade where they were in many of the same classes. Over the years they were able to spend additional time together by being on the same soccer and ski teams. Favorite memories of our friendship include spending a summer obsessing over my Ouija board, traveling with Tia's family to Colorado during our senior year spring break, and making videos of our (truly terrible) singing on photobooth.

Robert and Derek have known each other since elementary school, growing closer in high school. Derek’s earliest memory of Robert is centered around Saturday morning basketball- the elite competition of 2nd or 3rd graders that led to Robert saying thank you when he took the ball from his opponent. Friday trips to Hot Head, watching Robert put the team on his back, and questioning curfews of siblings are some of the high school highlights for the pair. Derek and Ashley were lucky enough to visit Robert at Florida Southern and learn of his recently acquired love of surfing (which is still going strong). Robert is currently in Hawaii for his dental residency and we will all have to hold our breath to see if he can make it to the wedding (if Robert’s resident director reads this, please let him come? 😊) , but even if he’s not able to be at the wedding- he’s been a great friend to Derek and there will be a little picture representing him.
