Alisha and I have been best friends since the 4th grade. Ironically we also met at Napavine Elementary School, in Mr. Patrick’s class and became the best of friends. She absolutely is considered family. We sometimes go weeks, even years without seeing each other (life is just busy) BUT he second we get back together, we just pick up where we left off, like we never missed a beat. I grew up with Alisha, she was a huge part of my childhood and a ton of my core memories. Her and her family took me in, and included me. Literally as family. I went on all of the “family vacations”, I got to experience so much, with my best friend right by my side. Alisha and I growing up, literally were polar opposites. But that’s what made us “click”. She taught me so much about how to love and be loved. She probably doesn’t even realize that. Alisha has always ALWAYS been the most kind and gentle soul, and I have always aspired to have that kind of aesthetic about me as well. When she walks into a room, she lights it up with her kindness! She has been there for each one of my children being born, always comes to every bday party or event and always makes time for myself and my family. She is the most amazing mother herself. She also just got her RN and I could not be more proud of her. She has worked so hard for so long and deserves the world! I’m forever thankful for the friendship we have endured and without a doubt, I know it will be life long. I love you Alisha.

Veronica, you’re not just my sister in law, you’re my friend. I’m forever thankful for Veronica and the person she is. She has such a kind heart and generous spirit. Every day is brighter with my amazing sister-in-law by my side. We may not share genes, but we share an unbreakable bond. Through thick and thin, my sister-in-law is always there for me. You're more than a sister-in-law; you're family. She does so much for her family and the whole church. She is an amazing First Lady; always planning events, prepping and preparing meals. Hosting and opening her home to so many. She is an amazing mother to my niece and nephews. We understand each other so much being married to brothers who are so similar! I love you Veronica.

She’s one of best friends and yet no one can make my blood boil like she can. That’s sisters for you. The bond between us is like no other. Sandra is someone I can be myself with, whom I’m not afraid to fight with—and often did as kids, thankfully we’ve grown out of the fighting stage. At the end of the day though, our love is unconditional and life-long. Sandra is both my mirror and my opposite, all in one. She is apart of so many of my childhood memories that can never be lost, get us to talking and you’ll find a wealth of interesting stories that will make us laugh until our bellies hurt. Sisters are the people we practice on, the people who teach us about fairness and cooperation and kindness and caring—quite often the hard way… Sisters are friends we have for a lifetime. My sister is such an amazing person, a hard worker and a loving mom! I love you Sandra. I’m forever thankful you’re my sister.
