Things to Do

The Bride & Groom recognize that a majority of their guests will be traveling a significant distant in order to join them. They encourage family and friends to take the opportunity and treat this like a vacation. Colorado Springs has a plethora of sites and activities for all budgets. The Bride & Groom have a few recommendations for the area if you do plan on taking it all in.

Garden of the Gods

Colorado Springs, CO 80904, USA
(719) 634-6666

One of the Bride & Groom’s favorite places. Fun fact, they often woke up early on the weekend just to drive, drink coffee and see the sunrise at Garden of the Gods.

Website

Downtown Colorado Springs

The Bride & Groom highly recommend a few of the shops/restaurants in downtown springs. From Pikes Peak Lemonade, to margaritas at Jose Muldoons; a Guinness at Jack Quinn’s or a good coffee at The Exchange.

Manitou Springs

About 30 minutes west from Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs has the cutest shopping around. Stop in at TownHouse or Border Burger Bar before hitting the penny arcade or a little shopping. If you are feeling adventurous, the Manitou Include should be open but ensure that you secure a reservation in advance!

Cave of the Winds Mountain Park

100 Cave of the Winds Rd, Manitou Springs, CO 80829, USA
(719) 685-5444

If you enjoy going into enclosed areas and seeing the wonders of nature, we cannot recommend visiting Cave of the Winds enough!

Manitou Cliff Dwellings

10 Cliff Rd, Manitou Springs, CO 80829, USA
(719) 685-5242

About 30 minutes from Colorado Springs, you'll be able to explore the cliff dwellings. The Bride & Groom visited and explored this area on their second dating anniversary!
