Sophie and Cassandra became fast friends ;) when a part of the University of Alberta track and field team together. Sophie has spent a lot of time and holidays at the Grenke household over the years and is basically an honorary Grenke sister at this point. Sophie is currently completing her after-degree in nursing at the University of Alberta as just wrapped up an amazing track and field career!

Ryan and Atlee quickly became best friends in the early years of playing university football and attending Athletes in Action. They have continued their athletic careers together by dominating (kind of) flag football during the summer. Ryan is currently a personal trainer in Regina, while also being a dog dad to his pup Bailey.

Julia is Grenke sister number 2. Cassandra and Julia are two years apart and grew up doing everything together, a lot of Cassandra telling her what to do and where to go. Julia has unbelievable drive to do well in her various passions. She just graduated from the University of Alberta with a chemical engineering degree and is starting her Masters this fall!

Brady is Atlee’s long-time childhood friend. They first met while playing youth football in elementary school and have been close friends ever since. Though they are both busy people, their friendship continues through many hours of playing video games. Much to the delight of their significant others! Brady is currently working as a sheriff at the courthouse while also pursuing a career as a police officer.

Meghan is Grenke sister number 3. Meghan is one of the most carefree go with the flow people, not much shakes her. She is completing her degree in Meteorology at the University of Alberta and is currently working as a summer student with the Weather Network in Ontario. Meghan is also an incredible musician, one of the things Cassandra misses most about Edmonton is hearing Meghans saxophone through the vents in her room.

Jackson has gone from high school basketball rival to close friend. Jackson’s suit expertise came in handy while choosing Atlee’s wedding day fit. Jackson, along with his wife Brittany, have quickly become Atlee and Cass’s closest couple friends. We are excited to continue this friendship into our marriage.

Rachel is the final Grenke sister. Rachel and Cassandra have always connected through their mutual experiences in high level sport. Throughout Rachel's Gymnastics career and Cassandras Track career, they always called each other after every competition. Rachel will be starting her Bachelor of Commerce at MacEwan University this fall and has recently taken up pole vault as well!

Isaac is the baby of the Simon family and is one of Atlee’s best friends. Isaac has just graduated high school and has recently committed to playing at Cassandra's alma mater the University of Alberta to play basketball. Atlee had the privilege of coaching Isaac over the duration of his high school career and is looking forward to watching him in the NBA one day ;)

Ashlynn is Atlee’s sister and mama of our sweet ring bearer Preston III and flower girl Arie. Ashlynn and her mom run a health and wellness business together that has been very successful! Ashlynn also used to run track at North Dakota State University and loves DIY projects as well, giving her and Cassandra a lot to connect over.

Christian has become a great friend of Atlee's over the course of their university lives, including many great conversations over Earls happy hour. Christian brings infectious positivity to any environment he is in. He is currently a grade 7 teacher in Regina as well, which also gives them a lot in common.

Tiana and Cassandra ran track together in high school and their friendship lasted the distance thoughout university in different cities. Cassandra is preparing to practicing her long distance skills further as Tiana and her husband are moving to England in the fall for a job opportunity! Tiana and Cassandra are both teachers and continue to connect and laugh about day to day life at work as well.

Jason is Atlee and Cassandra's colleague at Harvest City and a former coaching partner of Atlee's. Throughout the years Jason has been an incredible mentor both spiritually and relationally for Atlee. Jason is a husband to his beautiful wife Stacy and father to his little one Hannah.

Grace and Cassandra went to the same high school as well, though really became close friends on the track team at the University of Alberta. Grace is currently working as a nurse while in school at the University of Alberta to become a doctor. Cassandra and Grace have bonded even more this past year through all of the wedding planning madness as Grace got married last month and they were both bridesmaids for each other.

Andrew became Atlee’s big brother from another mother early in his university football career at the UofR. Andrew is a passionate leader and coach and is currently living in Miami where he is working as an entrepreneur and teacher.

Arie is Atlee's sweet 16-month-old niece. She has the most contagious smile in the world and we adore her.

Preston is Atlee's nephew and is just shy of 3 years old. He is so smart already and is very sure of what he does and does not like.
