We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and cameras are put away and tunred to silent/off during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer and videoographer to caputer some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a persons phone/camera blocking that moment. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want and share them with us.
Can I bring a date/plus one?
Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate the guest that we have included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invite by name.
Are kids invited?
While we love your kiddos, we are asking guests refrain from bringing their kids. We are hoping this is an opportunity for you parents to have a well deserved night off!
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! We will be having an open bar for 4 hours starting after the ceremony. After the 4 hours is up make sure to bring cash or a card if you plan on drinking further. There will be water and lemonade free of charge after that point on.
What if I don't RSVP by the deadline?
If we do not receive an RSVP back from you by our May 2nd 2025 deadline, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love to be celebrating with you, however, the reason for this being that we must provide accurate guest count to all of our vendors within a timely manner.
Is there a dress code? Any colors I should avoid wearing?
We would love to see you dressed up! Our dress code is more casual as the groom/groomsman will be in jeans and boots.
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride - Whites, ivories, and creams.
Our ceremony will be outside so please plan accordingly.
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Our ceremony and reception will be all on one site! The ceremony and reception will be taking place in Marshall, Mi. There will also be parking on site in the field across from the venue. Vehicles are allowed to be parked overnight however they will need to be picked up by 9am the following morning.
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will be beginning at 4pm, we ask that you please arrive by 3:30 -3:45 to allow time to get settled before the ceremony starts.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony the bridal party/family will be taking pictures for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the barn for cocktail hour and help themselves to some drinks and appetizers! Cocktail hour will be followed by a BBQ Buffet Style Dinner.
