Erik knew it was love at first sight when he saw Aubrey in the summer of 2019 at St. Francis de Sales Grade School. Erik pursued Aubrey for a year, before finally asking her to go out for Halloween in 2020. Aubrey said yes and they ventured to a haunted house together. Erik was so nervous, he barely talked the whole night. After that night, Erik and Aubrey began hanging out more and more, and it only took a couple of weeks for them realize that they wanted to be in a relationship. Erik and Aubrey dated for a year and a half and booked a trip to Cozumel, Mexico in the summer of 2022. On an 8 hour excursion, in the Jade Cave, Erik proposed to Aubrey with Brayden, Jimmy, his mom and bats looking on. From there, they realized they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, and began planning forever.
