This one time at band camp - We met in 2013 during band camp and got to know each other as friends during a nighttime water balloon fight!

Year 1 - Our first year dating, weekends were filled with CNU football games where we got to share our passion for marching band. Audrey learned of Alex's passion for Sci-Fi shows and Alex learned of Audrey's other musical abilities: singing in the university choir and acapella group!

3 Degrees Hotter - In 2017 we commemorated graduating with our bachelors degrees and Alex's masters degree by taking photos around campus. Our favorite spot was on the marching band field where we first met!

Cruising - After graduating, we went on our first vacation together on a cruise to the Bahamas. We enjoyed spending time aboard the ship and loved swimming with sting rays!

Star City - We said goodbye to Newport News and moved to Roanoke, VA where Alex was offered a teaching position at a local middle school.

Time in Roanoke - Our favorite things to do living in Roanoke were hiking, taking Malcolm out around downtown, and visiting the many local breweries.

She Said Yes! - Alex proposed at a pumpkin patch on Audrey's favorite day of the year, Halloween! He brought her to the sunflower field and told her he had a prop for a picture, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes!

Thanks for the Memories - Our time in Roanoke came to an end in the summer of 2021 as Alex moved up to Northern Virginia for a new teaching job in Prince William County and to join Audrey who was working at a science center. A long distance relationship for 2 years brought us closer together (pun intended) and now we are happy to be together living in Centerville with our dog, Malcolm!
