Ellen is Audrey's twin sister and matron of honor! Growing up as twins has always meant having someone to share life's big moments with. Audrey stood by Ellen's side at her wedding in May and is now so happy to have Ellen at her side for her special day.

Audrey met Emily in college through their mutual time in marching band, Kappa Kappa Psi, and Sigma Alpha Iota. They lived together in what was dubbed "The Princess Cottage" and share a love of Disney and dogs!

Joan is Audrey's cousin, but growing up was more referred to as Audrey and Ellen's triplet! Joan is always the life of the party and it means so much to Audrey to have family stand with her on her special day.

Jenny quickly became a true friend and sister to Audrey when meeting Alex's sisters. She is so happy to spend quality time with her and both of their dogs, Harper and Malcolm!

Audrey gained another friend and sister when meeting Alex's sisters, Jill! Audrey found a lot in common with her future sister-in-law and loves going on new adventures together like paddle-boarding.

Emily and Audrey have been friends for over 10 years! Best friends since high school, the last decade has brought support and many laughs. Don't be surprised if you hear an inside joke or two being shared between them!

Audrey met Lauren at CNU when they were in marching band together and became college roommates. Lauren never fails to brighten Audrey's day with a smile or a laugh.

Torii and Audrey met at CNU through marching band and then made a strong friendship as Big and Little in the fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi. Torii lovingly refers to Audrey and Alex as "Mom and Dad" and their special day couldn't happen without her!

Collin and Alex first met at CNU through marching band and have been side by side since graduation, even braving a year of living together in Roanoke. Collin's love for all things science fiction, hiking, and a one of kind sense of humor has helped him become an essential part of lives of both the bride and groom. Just a chance to hear his infectious laugh has made him the perfect choice for best man. No one is more qualified to speak about the happy couple - the trick will be making sure there is enough time to say it all!

Leslie and Alex first met through marching band at CNU but the true beginning of their fiery friendship began when Leslie became Alex's little brother in the band fraternity, Kappa Kappa Psi. Leslie's wit, intelligence, and charisma were the perfect match against Alex's own personality and through many late night chats and long weekend trips, Leslie has become one of the closest friends of both the bride and groom. Very few could be a better choice for one of their best men!

Nick and Alex first met in the summer of 2009 at the band camp of the Woodbridge Mighty Viking Marching Band. The two were practically inseparable throughout high school, consistently challenging each other to outdo the other while still finding more than enough time to get into one too many shenanigans. It was a friendship that followed to CNU and evolved as both grew in to the men they have become today - brothers, educators, and professionals. A lifelong friendship has been full of stories - just don't ask about the hole in the wall!

Continuing a long running trend in the groom's party, JJ and Alex first met through the Woodbridge band program. Not many upperclassmen would brave the ranks of freshman to make friends but, thanks to JJ's efforts, a long lasting friendship was made. JJ provided the encouragement and energy for some of Alex's earliest accomplishments, including becoming Drum Major, and paved the way for the many that would follow after high school. His worthy inclusion as a groomsman stands as a testament that neither distance or time can stand in the way of true friendship and comradery.

Brothers have a unique impact on each other as the grow older, with one often serving as a role model and the other the learner. Austin has in many ways become the unofficial brother for Alex, having first met in college as freshman and remaining in touch ever since. Mentorship still has room for fun, however, and there are very few who share Alex's love of all things quirky and geeky as much as Austin. One of these day's Alex will beat him in a board game but, until then, there isn't a better place to have Austin on the big day than alongside the bride and groom.

Mern and Alex first met through band in college on a trip to St. Louis and have maintained the closest of friendships ever since. Mern has constantly been beside Alex through all of the biggest decisions in both college and beyond, serving as both a mentor and as a friend. Her youthful energy and positive personality make it difficult to feel bad when losing to her in any competitive board game but have made her one of the most important people in Alex and Audrey's lives. Sharing their day with her by their side will make an exceptional moment perfect!

The first meeting in what would become a long running friendship between Jack and Alex was completely by random chance - a new roommate was being added to Alex's suite of three and no one was sure about how it would work out. As it turned out Jack and Alex quickly developed a witty rapport with a focus on journalism and politics and continued that friendship after they both graduated. A writer and a scholar, Jack has seen some of the most significant moments of the bride and groom. As long as he goes off the record he is free to share!

Those who get to know Alex will quickly find out that his biggest passion is teaching. It was as a young, novice, first year teacher that Alex met Kate and immediately started one of the most important friendships of his life. Equally enthusiastic and wise beyond her years, Kate kept an often enthusiastic and eager first year teacher grounded and ultimately helped Alex and Audrey reach this moment in their lives - she was the first to know of the ring and the proposal plans! Alex and Audrey could not possibly trust someone more than Kate to be a part of their biggest day.

Victoria and Audrey, although not having known each other for a long time, instantly felt like they had been friends forever! They met when their respective fiancés moved in together as roommates in Roanoke. Victoria's fierce and fun energy is perfect to make sure the men of the day have everything they need and keep them in line!
