Hotel accommodations

Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Birmingham
This hotel is located downtown and is 2.5 miles from the wedding ceremony/reception site. It is located within walking distance to Railroad Park, Good People Brewing, Red Cat coffee shop and several restaurants.
Downtown Birmingham does involve navigating some one way streets, but is the hotel is not in a highly trafficked area. I am told there is a $12 a day parking fee, and breakfast is included in the cost of stay.
This hotel is located 45 minutes from the rehearsal dinner on Friday, May 7th, so please plan accordingly.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Birmingham Downtown
Home2 is another option for our guests and is connected to the Hilton Garden Inn. When you call to reserve a room, you can get the same group rate for our wedding reservation on the Home2 side of the hotel if a larger room with a kitchenette and pull out sofa would fit your needs better.
Breakfast is included and parking is $12 a day.
Again, this hotel is located 45 minutes from the rehearsal dinner site, so if you are attending the rehearsal dinner on Friday May 7th, please plan accordingly.
Childcare
We know that many of our out of town guests will be trying to decide what to do with their children during the wedding. While out of town guests are welcomed to bring their children to the wedding, if you are interested it getting a babysitter we recommend downloading the app called "Wyndy." This is a babysitter connection app that was started by students at Samford University. We have several friends who use this app and have had good experiences. Obviously, this is just one option, and if childcare is a big concern of yours when deciding about attending, please reach out to me (Audrey.) I'm happy to see if I can find someone I know personally to recommend if that would make you more comfortable!
