By March 2020, it was clear the world was changing. Austin and Jason's relationship, however, continued to grow. This photo taken by their friend, Jess in Aurora, New York, was one of the couple's last weekend trips before COVID lockdowns began. By this time, Austin had committed to Cornell for graduate school and Jason continued his work in hospitality.

Austin and Jason marked their first anniversary by visiting Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This was their first trip outside of New York as a couple.

To celebrate the completion of one year of Austin's two-year graduate program, and to take a break from work, Austin and Jason visited Philadelphia. This is one of their favorite vacations together to date.

Jason proposed to Austin on October 11, 2021, in Stewart Park by Cayuga Lake. Austin said yes, and several months later Austin also proposed to Jason at the foot of the Cascadilla Gorge Trail.
May 28, 2022
On this day, Austin completed graduate school. Jason supported Austin throughout his program. Jason, who had started a new job eight months before Austin graduated, also received support from Austin during his career moves.

Austin and Jason moved to Pittsburgh to further their careers. During their time in Pittsburgh, they adopted a three-year old cat, Gal and met many wonderful people.

a few weeks after Jason began an exciting new job, Austin and Jason moved back to the Finger Lakes region. They are looking forward to welcoming close family and friends from near and far to their wedding celebration by the beautiful Seneca Lake!
