matron of honors + bridesmaids
Tressa Lacy - Matron of Honor
Tressa and I met one spring afternoon in 2021 when I tagged along with Austin at ABS, herding cattle. We met and connected instantly, one of those one-off chances where you meet someone and just know they’re about to become someone real special to you. Tressa has not only become one of my very closest friends, but a dear friend to us both. She’s shared our love of cattle and my love of plants, been there in every moment of joy and of challenges and has helped guide us through each and every one. I love you always, Tressa Mae. 🤍
Anika Ader - Matron of Honor
Where to begin — Ani and I have been best friends since we were just 3 years old. We met in the toy aisle of target and again at the McDonalds play gym in our home town, Waunakee, and the rest is truly history. From endless sleepovers to family vacations, every mile stone — both our first real breakups and our engagements to her husband and my soon to be — she’s been beside me through it ALL. She’s the sister I never had growing up, the biggest goofball to her core and to this very day remains my dearest friend. I love you Anikat! 🤍
Amanda Ruchti - Matron of Honor
Miss Amanda — 8 years ago we met on a double date as our then boyfriends (hers, her now husband) were best friends. Four years later she guided me through one of the scariest challenges I’ve ever gone through; leaving that relationship. From that point on she became my rock. From our many annual traditions shared every 4th of July, Friendsgiving and New Year Eve, to many girls nights in playing Sims 4, we have so many special memories. Here comes the wild part, mind you how we met… Amanda had been my biggest cheerleader when I began to date again. After Austin and I’s first date I immediately had to tell her everything, and of course she wanted to see what he looked like and hear all about it. Well I sent her a photo and she goes, “WAIT, what’s his last name?!” And I said “Renz! Do you know him?” And she says “he’s Alex’s (her husband's) first cousin!” … so now, not only is she one of my very closest friends, but will soon become family. I love you always Amanda.🤍
Brittney Lubinski - Bridesmaid
My dearest Britty Lou — since I was born, she had taken on the role of my big sister. Growing up we made mud pies, our own little storefronts, climbed the pines, snowmobiled and drove four wheelers on her parents land! We climbed into the haymows during hide and seek, built giant sledding hills off the milk house’s roof to sled down, swung on the weeping willow branches, played lava tag by climbing into the apple trees and so many more memories shared on our family’s farm. There are so many memories we share since we were born, and so many memories all these years that I cherish so dearly. I’ve looked up to Britt since I can remember. The most humble, kind, beautiful soul — she’s always been so well rounded and brilliant. She carries herself with more grace than any woman I know and has this gentleness to her that I just adore. I love you so much Britty Lou. 🤍
Samantha Martin - Bridesmaid
Sam and I originally met in art class as well, freshman year of high school but did not become close until about 7 years ago where she, Amanda and I’s friendship blossomed in our friend group! She’s become one of my very closest gals over the years and shares such a deep passion for psychology and human behavior — we deep dive so many topics together. I can always count on her to make me burst out laughing or for the greatest level of support in any time of need. Not to mention our tom boy personalities that love to get down and dirty outdoors in any way we can connect with nature. Love you so much Shaaam! 🤍
Emily Severson - Bridesmaid
Emily, my dear friend — we met through our men as well, Emily is one of Austin’s best friends, Brett’s wife! Brett & Emily opened their home to us as our very first “home” together and it grew our friendship like crazy. Growing through the years has been such a gift. I’ve never met someone who understood so much of what makes us who we are. There’s a depth to her that never ceases to amaze me, and a strength that takes my breath away. Emily has the ability to make me laugh so hard I pee myself, and has always had this uncanny ability to instantly make me feel as though I can safely let all my walls down, making me feel comfortable to be unapologetically me. She and I share this bluntness I can’t have with just anyone. A friendship rooted in honesty, joy and strength. What a pair. I sure love you, Em! 🤍
Mariah Deyo - Bridesmaid
Moe — my penpal, snail mail, FaceTiming long distance bestie gal. Mo and I met way back in middle/high school in our hometown, Baraboo, WI. This girl always captivated me with her gentle and oh so bright nature. Throughout all the years our paths continued to cross no matter how many states or oceans were between us. Her soul is deeper than any I’ve ever met and she has this magical way about her that you’d understand the moment you met her. We spend all our time together via FaceTime these days as she’s off exploring all the world has to offer as a State Park Ranger — my spirit animal you are my dear. This woman inspires me daily, and is one of my dearest friends. I love you, Moe. 🤍
