Our Wedding

In 2020, both living in Denver, we took a chance on love through a dating app. Our profiles are still vivid in our memories—Nicole’s showcased her love for mashed potatoes, a clean house, and fast cars. Austin’s prompts were left completely blank, but his photos told a different story. Was it the one in his Ducks jersey (was Nicole secretly a Ducks fan all along?) or the one with his fake neck tats from a previous Halloween costume? Whatever it was, it worked, and she was left wanting to know more—the only option was to agree to a first date! Austin won Nicole over with a thrilling ride in his Corvette, setting the stage for what we now call the best first date ever. Our connection was instant and undeniable. That first date turned into consecutive days (weeks!) of never being apart. Just a few days later, we took our first trip together to Vail and Aspen where Austin told, not asked, Nicole to be his girlfriend. Within three weeks, Austin met Nicole’s parents, and three weeks after that, we jetted off to Mexico. In an exciting whirlwind, we moved into our first apartment and brought home our beloved dog, Oso, all within the first 40 days of our first date. Since then, we've lived in 7 homes across 3 states, and our love has only grown stronger. So, in true fashion, we’re keeping the whirlwind alive by getting married in Ibiza! It’s only fitting, right? Footwear: Bring sandals—there are stairs at the villa and wedding venue. For clubs, sandals, cowboy or combat boots, and non-heel shoes are all fine. Laundry: There is no washer/dryer at the villa. You can hand-wash and air-dry or use a local laundry service if needed. This is standard in Europe’s warmer climate countries. Tickets to Shows: You can upgrade to a table later without losing money if the cost makes sense.&nbsp; Stay Cool,bring a paper hand fan—it gets hot during the day and in the clubs. Getting AroundIf you want to explore the island on free days, renting a car is super easy. The villa offers free parking. Meals: We’ll have a chef and staff preparing set lunches and dinners each day, which we’ll all split the cost of. Everyone can cook breakfast together. This will be MUCH cheaper than eating out every meal as Austin and I experienced on our trip in July. This food cost will be due the week on the island and before departure on September 11th, inclusive of groceries and the chefs + tip. Let us know if you’d rather opt out and do your own thing; however, we highly recommend participation. We are working with the chefs on the sample menu and expect the costs to be shared once finalized. Sleep Essentials: Pack an eye mask and earplugs. They’re helpful for club nights and getting good sleep. VAT Refund: If you make a purchase, ask the store for a tax refund form and retain your receipts. You can get the VAT back at the airport—it’s worth it. Group Transfers: Many of you are arriving and departing at similar times. If you’d like to share shuttles, send me your flight details and I’ll help coordinate.

Q + A

We suggest arriving in Europe a day before the 7th to adjust to the timezone. Ibiza offers direct flights from many major European cities, making European flight travel affordable & convenient.

We’ve secured a spectacular villa that accommodates our guests, complete with 14-bedroom suites with individual bathrooms per couple. The villa address is as follows: Casa Rocio (type this into your maps app)07818 Sant Josep de sa Talaia, Balearic Islands, Spain The cost is $1,000 per person for the entire stay, with two guests per suite required. Please keep in mind that the villa has limited space, so it wont be able to accommodate all wedding guests. Reservations will be on a first-come, first-served basis with a deposit to secure your room. We’ve contributed to the cost to make it more affordable, as it’s important to us to celebrate this wedding and bachelor/ette event together! To help cover booking costs, we’ll kindly ask for a 25% deposit once you confirm your villa stay by February 1st, 50% due by May 1st, with the remaining balance due by July 1, 2025. This can be paid via Venmo to Austin or Nicole, or to Nicole via Zelle using her phone number. *Please plan to stay with us for the full 4-nights as we have paid upfront for the exclusive use of the villa, and have based nightly rates off of full occupancy. This is both our wedding and bachelor/ette party, and we’re excited to spend four unforgettable nights together, making it a memorable week for everyone!

It takes about 45 minutes by car to travel across the entire island, making it convenient to get from the wedding venue to the villa we’ve booked for everyone. Plus, the villa is just 10-15 minutes away from all the popular clubs in downtown Ibiza, making it perfect for nights out!

Travel Tips for Europe

Ibiza is a well-known safe destination, with many locals and tourists speaking English, making it easy to get around. Here are a few travel tips to help you feel more comfortable:    1. You have the option to add an international phone plan for your stay, or you can use your phone for iMessages, FaceTime, and other apps while on Wi-Fi without a plan.     2. We recommend having some Euros on hand for cash purchases, as it can sometimes offer better prices. You can order Euros from your bank at least two weeks before your trip.     3. Don’t forget to bring a Type C plug adapter for your electronics, as Europe uses a different outlet system than the US. (Ladies, hair tools need a strong powered converter so be sure to have one that supports that voltage level.)     4. Check that your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates; otherwise, you may not be able to enter Europe.     5. While on your flight, try to minimize jet lag by adjusting to the destination’s timezone. For example, if your flight departs at 1 pm PT, it will be 10 pm in Ibiza. Try to get some sleep soon after boarding, and aim to wake up closer to the morning time in Ibiza to help your body acclimate to the new time zone.

Things to Do in Ibiza

Beach Hopping: Explore the island’s stunning beaches like Cala Comte, Cala Bassa, and Ses Salines. Perfect for soaking up the sun or enjoying a refreshing swim.

Old Town Ibiza (Dalt Vila): Wander through the charming, historic streets of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, filled with picturesque views, boutique shops, and lively cafes.

Sunset at Café del Mar: Experience the iconic Ibiza sunset with a cocktail in hand at Café del Mar or nearby Sunset Strip. A must-do for every visitor!

Formentera Day Trip: Take a short ferry ride to Formentera, Ibiza’s serene sister island, known for its turquoise waters and white sandy beaches.

Beach Clubs: Spend a day at one of Ibiza’s renowned beach clubs like Blue Marlin, Amante, or Cotton Beach Club for a luxurious and relaxed vibe.

Visit Es Vedrà: Take in the breathtaking views of this mystical rock formation from the cliffs near Cala d’Hort. A great spot for photos and a touch of Ibiza’s magic!

Plan for lunch at a beach club on Formentera, separate from the boat rental cost.Payments will be due September 1 for the boat. Ibiza law only allows 12 people per boat, so we’ll need a few guests to opt for a free day. If you’re open to doing your own thing, please text Austin or me in the next two weeks. Note: this will be a ripper of a day on the boat. If you’d rather relax and enjoy the villa/island, please volunteer as one of the few we will need to opt-out. Gentlemen, linen suits or relaxed separates are ideal, while ladies might choose dresses that channel a goddess-like vibe. We’re aiming for an elevated, beachy aesthetic—comfortable yet effortlessly chic. The bridal party will be wearing 'sand'.
