Where can guests stay?
Guests are in for a truly unique experience at our wedding on Pendarvis Farm, an 80-acre oasis of natural beauty. For those looking to stay close to the festivities, we've got you covered. The farm offers ample space for car camping, RV parking (without hookups), and tent camping, ensuring that everyone can choose the level of comfort that suits them best. Guests are welcome to join and set up camp on Friday, June 21st.
We recommend using Outdoorsy rentals to secure an adventure mobile if you do not already have one!
Whether you prefer the convenience of an RV, the cozy charm of a tent, or the simplicity of car camping, the farm has options to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
Are there nearby hotels or alternative lodging options?
Yes! Pendarvis Farms is located a few miles outside of Portland and there are LOTS of options for hotels and Airbnbs. Please check out our Travel page for some recommendations we have provided for those who will not be staying on site for the weekend.
Is there ample parking available?
Yes! There is plenty of parking available at the property.
Are there shuttle services for guests?
Shuttles will not be provided, as we hope the majority of guests will opt to stay on the farm for the weekend. However, Pendarvis Farms is not a rural area and ride-sharing apps like Uber and Lyft are available and encouraged.
What restroom facilities are available?
Restrooms will be on-site in the form of portapotties. Worth mentioning that we will have the luxury ones with hand washing available.
Are there showers on site?
Showers will not be available on-site. Plan accordingly!
Is there electricity on-site for charging devices?
Yes! There is electricity available in the Galaxy and Lucky Barns for guests. Electric hookups are not available for RV's, however.
What should I wear to the wedding?
A fusion of fashion-forward elegance and playful pizzazz, where tuxedos and gowns meet their quirky, colorful counterparts. Ladies, let your inner diva shine in dresses that are the perfect blend of chic and whimsy. Hats with personality, sunglasses at night, and pocket squares that could double as conversation starters. And don't forget your dancing shoes - it's all about making an entrance that's as unforgettable as the love story we're celebrating. Keep in mind that our venue is a FARM - so please refrain from wearing high heels, and opt for more comfortable footwear that can handle uneven terrain.
What's the backup plan in case of bad weather?
Please pack an umbrella and alternative warm clothing options in the event of rain. We do not expect rain in late June. If it does, we hope that everyone will be good sports as we cannot control the weather, we can only dress appropriately for it.
Is food provided, or should guests bring their own?
We have planned dinner for guests after the wedding ceremony, and a light breakfast & coffee for Saturday morning. Guests arriving on Friday and staying for the weekend should bring supplementary food that can be stored in coolers at your campsite.
Can guests bring their pets?
Though we love all of your furry friends, we ask that you please leave your pets at home for the weekend.
Are children welcome? Is childcare available during the wedding?
Absolutely, children are very welcome to join us for our wedding celebration at Pendarvis Farm! Please let us know when you RSVP how many children are joining you. We adore having young ones share in our special day and there is plenty of space for the littles to roam around and explore safely! However, please note that we won't have childcare services available during the wedding. We recommend that parents or guardians supervise their children and bring any necessary supplies or entertainment to keep them comfortable and engaged. We look forward to creating wonderful memories with your whole family!
Are there restrictions on alcohol consumption?
We want everyone to have a fantastic time celebrating with us *responsibly*! We'll have an OLCC licensed bartender on site for the reception, providing drinks at no charge. Please tip appropriately. Additionally, guests are welcome to bring their own beverages to enjoy and share *at their campsites*.
However, we kindly ask that all guests drink responsibly and refrain from driving under the influence. Your safety and the safety of others is our top priority. Please designate a sober driver or consider alternative transportation options if you plan to consume alcohol and will not be staying on-site.
We also want to create a safe and inclusive environment, so we kindly request that guests do not bring any hard drugs to the event. Let's come together to celebrate in a fun and responsible manner, ensuring that everyone has a memorable and safe time at our wedding!
How can guests maintain the farm's natural beauty?
We appreciate your consideration for this beautiful farm's natural surroundings! To help us maintain its pristine beauty, we kindly ask our guests to follow these eco-friendly guidelines:
Practice Leave No Trace: Please clean up after yourself and dispose of trash in designated receptacles. Keep the farm litter-free so that future visitors can enjoy it just as much.
While enjoying the great outdoors, it's important to respect the farm's wildlife. Admire from a distance and avoid feeding animals, as it can disrupt their natural behavior.
Stick to designated paths and trails to avoid damaging the natural vegetation and ecosystems. This helps preserve the farm's delicate balance.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Minimize waste by reducing single-use items, recycling where available, and using reusable containers and utensils.
What do I need to bring to stay at the farm?
Please visit and review our Camp Packing List page. We've made you the list, now check it twice!
