Q + A

What is the best way to get to Pescara?

The most direct method of travel is to fly into Rome (Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport). From there you can rent a car (2.5 hours), take a train (~4 hours) or take a bus (~3 hours).

How will we get to and from the Wedding venue?

We have arranged private buses that will bring guests from Hotel Regent to Villa Tamerici. These will bring guests to the venue prior to the Ceremony start. The buses will also bring guests back to the hotel when the Reception is winding down. There is plenty of parking space for those who would rather drive to the venue.

What is beach formal attire?

This venue is on a private beach, and August is Italy's hottest month. Beach formal is more casual than formal attire, please dress for the hot weather. This can mean (but not limited to) linen for men and sundresses for women. We will have access to the beach during the event, so sandals are fair game!

My name doesn't show up when i search under RSVP.

The RSVP search can be a little finicky on this site. Try searching just your first name or just your last name, if that doesn't work try searching first name with your middle name. Please contact Avery or Alessandro if you are still having trouble, we are happy to help!

I'm staying longer than the 3 nights blocked at the hotel.

If you are arriving in Pescara before August 28th and/or leaving later than September 1st, you will have to arrange those nights on your own. August is a busy month for the hotels in Pescara and they only allowed us to block 3 nights. We have listed some other hotels on the website, but there are many more hotels and AirBnBs that you can find throughout the area.

I don't speak Italian, will this be a challenge?

Don't worry at all. Most people here can speak English as well, and the people are friendly and willing to help. Pescara brings in tourists from all over Europe who speak different languages, naturally the local businesses require their staff to speak English.
