Presley is Avery’s sister. She is gorgeous, self-less, and an all around amazing sister and friend. Avery loves joking around with Presley, even when she is not in the greatest mood. Presley graduates high school this year and Avery cannot wait to see where this next chapter leads her as she goes off to college. Presley will be fulfilling the role as co-maid of honor along side our sister, Finley. Avery could not imagine getting married without them by her side as they have been there for her through thick and thin.

Finley is Avery’s youngest sister. She is Avery’s twin (or so we have been told MULTIPLE times). Finley is the smartest person Avery knows. She is creative, beautiful, and wears her heart on her sleeve. Avery often looks up to Finley and all she has accomplished in life, so far. She is excited to see how far Finley goes in life and the future accomplishments she will achieve. Finley will be one of Avery’s co-maid of honors. Avery could not getting married without Finley by her side, after all, they have spent their entire lives together.

Avery met Lindsey the very first day of college. They began freshman year living on the same dorm floor as neighbors. Avery is an introvert at first, and Lindsey sealed the friendship by asking Avery “can we be friends” multiple times throughout the first week of orientation. From then on, their friendship has grown. Linsey is self-less, smart, and the hardest working lady Avery knows. She has carried 3 jobs as a full time student while being a full time student, college athlete, and being a member of Concordia’s only sorority. To say Avery looks up to her, is an understatement. Lindsey will be a bridesmaid in the wedding. Avery could not imagine anyone more special than her first college best friend standing by her side.

Jadzia is a cousin of Avery. She is a cup in which Avery loves to spill her tea to when life likes to throw her curve balls. Jadzia is funny, beautiful, and always supportive of those she loves. Avery’s most fondest memories with Jadzia is selling grandpa and grandma Kenning’s sweet corn for one week every summer as they grew up! Jadzia will be a bridesmaid in the wedding. Avery can not imagine walking down the aisle without Jadzia by her side.

Aurora is Avery’s cousin & oldest sister two two of our flower girls - Athena & Attica. She is spunky, lively, and a lover of pigs & snakes! Fun fact, she wants to be a farmer when she grows up; Devon would gladly share some of his knowledge with her! Aurora loves to learn and nothing scares her. She is always willing to try new things, which is why we asked her to be our very own junior bridesmaid! We cannot wait to see Aurora walking down the aisle on our wedding day and we cannot wait to see the moves she busts out later during the reception.

Amira is a cousin of Devon. She is a pretty spunky girl! Amira fills the house with singing her songs and never fails to put a smile across your face. She is a gal that will wear sparkly heels and a dress-up gown out in the cow pasture. We are excited to see her walk down the aisle along side Attica and Athena at the wedding as they fulfill the role of “flower girls.”

Athena is the second youngest cousin of the Kenning clan. She is a sassy, fierce, outgoing little girl. Avery loves doing Athena’s nails. In fact, Avery did Athena’s nails 3x this past Christmas because they kept falling off (they were stickers). Athena will never fail to make you laugh. She will be fulfilling the role as one of the flower girls. Devon and Avery hope to see this little girls’ sass shine as she walks down the aisle. They could not imagine anyone else fulfilling the role of “flower girl” than Athena, Attica, and Amira.

Attica is the youngest cousin of the Kenning clan. She is a beautiful, sassy, and bubbly gal. Attica may be quite reserved when you first meet her, but don’t let that fool you; she will soon be hanging on your arms and sitting on your feet as you walk around in no time. Attica will be one of the flower girls. Devon and Avery cannot wait to see this little princess walk down the aisle along side her sister Athena, and Devon’s younger cousin, Amira.

Sidnee is Devon’s sister. When thinking of a specific story to tell, Devon replied with “gosh, there are too many.” They were rambunctious kids growing up; (1) walking on the roof of aunt Nessa’s house (she found them because of the pitter patter coming from above). (2) cutting an engine out of a 4-wheeler and attempted to place it in a go-kart. “There were flames coming out of the muffler.” Spoiler alert: it did not run, but they swear it was close (3) and attending gpa Roger daycare growing up as kids- which consisted of sitting on the tractor fenders so he could get the fields done, and so much more. Devon could not imagine anyone else standing next to him on his wedding day. Sidnee is his build in best friend & will fill the role of “best woman” well.

“Mook mook” is the brother of the bride. Even though Kessler STILL likes to pick on Avery, she could not think of him as any less than her best “bigger” brother. Kessler is mellow, outgoing, and an outdoorsy man. He is a work out fanatic, a great cook, and always has a trick up his sleeve. Did you know Kessler can shot gun a pounder in less than 3 seconds? No seriously, ask him at the party! All in all, we cannot wait for him to stand by Devon’s side.

John is Devon’s friend from college. They were in the same electrical program which consisted of goofing off and daily subway dates. They heave been great buddies since graduation. In fact, Devon stood beside John on his wedding day! Fun fact: it was not until proposing to John devon finally figured out how to spell his name. Jon? Jonn? No Dev, it’s John! Besides the point, Devon cannot wait for John to stand beside him on his wedding day.

Matt is a long-time friend of Devon’s. There was a point in time where Devon has lived with Matt and his family! He is very blessed to know them all. Devon cherishes his memories with Matt when they would spend their free weekends up at the Johnson farm, grandma Donna’s, and little G’s house. Matt was there for Devon during his valleys in life and he cannot imagine anyone else standing next to him. Though they may not talk every day, they pick up where the left off whenever they get back together again.

Cody is bridesmaid Lindsey’s boyfriend. The bride and groom first met him on a double date and instantly knew he’d make a GREAT friend. Cody is down-to-earth, gregarious, and a wise old owl. He is an old soul like Devon. They bond over chatting about the farm and everything else under the sun. Cody’s passionate about his John Deere garden tractor, RC planes, and bridesmaid Lindsey (of course!) The bride and groom are excited to have him in the wedding! Their goal is to get him out on the dance floor!

Caden is the oldest cousin of the Kenning clan. He is laid back, goofy, and the life of the party. Devon’s fondest memory of Caden was singing karaoke during the yearly trip to Roseau, MN. Caden brought Devon out of his shell by shouting “Devon Johnson, Johnson Devon!” and singing Beer for my Horses by Toby Keith, ft. Willie Nelson. Caden will be a groomsman in the wedding. We cannot wait to experience the life he brings to this par-tay!

Lincoln is Avery’s youngest cousin on her mother’s side and god-child. Lincoln is sporty, adventurous, and kind. He plays basketball, football, baseball, and was in hockey for some time. Avery loves to play gamepigeon games with him. Lincoln will be fulfilling the role of junior groomsman. We believe he will do well! We cannot wait to see the moves he busts out later in the night.
