Don't forget to book your Bali accommodation for all the nights except the big one - 13 January 2026, because we've sorted that night! Literally, we've booked the entire resort exclusively for our wedding guests (a dream come true). Kata will send out a panui soon with the cost and all details.
FYI: We are staying in the bussling Seminyak area at the Hotel Vila Lumbung. There are many great places to stay such as Astagina Resort or Pelangi Bali Beachfront hotel - stunning resorts in the ideal Seminyak location. Theres more villas on AirBNB.
Other options include Kuta Beach Club Hotel (amazing), the Hard Rock Hotel (5*) and W Bali (super flash & pricey). These are solid accoms. Honestly, Bali has a million places to stay, Check out booking.com for free reservations and cancellations.
The best areas nearby are Legian, Seminyak and Kuta - all beachside with good vibes. Go to Ubud for lush tropical ngahere and cheeky monkeys, Uluwatu for cliff-top views like a postcard, and Canggu for surfers.
Ps* our wedding venue is BBG (Bali Beach Glamping). You can follow BBG on Instagram too :)
The magic window: Book as early as possible. Flights are available from February 2025. We are booking flights by April 2025 to get it sorted early and catch good deals. Flights are around $1300 per adult - could be lower and could increase the later you leave it!
Pack Light (Your Luggage Is Not Invited to the Wedding), plus you save so much on your flight. Most flights allow you to take 7-10kg in a carry-on suitcase (small suitcase) + a backpack on board. This is how we travel.
*the more you pack the more you pay
