After eight wonderful years together, we’re excited to tie the knot and share our journey with all of you. It all began with a night at Knoxville's and our first date at Chianti’s, and since then, our lives have been full of adventure, laughter, and love. It didn’t take us long to start dating and since then we both knew we would end up here.

We’re a team on and off the soccer field, a duo that dominates at beer pong, and escape room enthusiasts (Winnipeg has our favorites!). Over our relationship we have had two university graduations, gotten two professional registrations and had 7 different jobs (you can guess how many for each of us). In 2021, we bought our first house, where we love hosting friends, family, and plenty of good times.

Our shared passion for travel has taken us everywhere from Colombia and Mexico to Palm Springs and Hawaii. With Europe coming this September!

Then last May we went for the weekend to the Nordic Spa. There seemed to be a few giveaways before we left so Ayla had thought that the engagement may happen that weekend. However, in true Zach fashion and to prove to Ayla that she would be suprised after saying “you will not be able to surprise me”, Zach convinced her that it wasn’t happening by telling an elaborate story about how this weekend would have been the perfect opportunity and he was upset he didn’t plan it. During our hike at Troll Falls, Zach takes Ayla all over the mountain and continues the rouse until finally saying “well why don’t I just do it now” while down on one knee. Though many said ‘about time’, we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

Though we may disagree on the better last name, we can’t wait to finally share one this year!
