Wedding 

Ladies, please wear flowy maxi dresses, elegant long gowns, or ankle-length dresses in earthy or neutral tones. We kindly ask that you avoid short or knee-length dresses for this occasion. Gents, we recommend lightweight, breathable suits preferably in lighter colors, paired with loafers or dress shoes. Ties aren’t required, but we’re going for a neat, polished look. We'd love for you to dress in our wedding colors (earth tones) to help us create a beautiful, cohesive look - while making sure you’re comfortable too!

We’re keeping it casual chic for the welcome party. Ladies, think breezy fabrics—easy sundresses, maxis, or relaxed lounge sets. Gents, opt for shorts with a button-down shirt, paired with thongs or loafers. Filipino-inspired outfit or details are warmly encouraged if you have them. Monday 

Island Hopping 

Arriving early? We have hired a traditional Filipino banca where you can enjoy dolphin watching, snorkel at Balicasag Island’s vibrant reefs, and relax on the white sandbar of Virgin Island. You can bring your own lunch or buy food there. This will run from around 6:30 AM to 1:00 PM, leaving plenty of time to rest before the Welcome Party at 4:00 PM. Pick up and drop off will be at Oceanica. Note: The banca is on us; fees and other costs are covered by guests. WELCOME PARTY

Join us at Bohol Bee Farm from 4:00 PM for an easygoing evening of island vibes, local food, and refreshing drinks as we come together and kick off the celebrations. Transport will be arranged for guests. We’ll be in touch the day before with your pickup time.

TUESDAY

BOHOL COUNTRYSIDE TOUR

If you’re feeling up for it after the Welcome Party, Tuesday is perfect for a countryside tour! Hop in a private van to see tarsiers, marvel at the Chocolate Hills, enjoy lunch on the Loboc River Cruise, and more! The itinerary is flexible, so you and your group can pick your stops and start time (except for lunch as the cruise is leaving at 12:30) If you’ve already seen Bohol and just want to head straight to lunch at Loboc (like Simon and I), let us know! Note: The van and fuel are on us; entrance fees and other costs are covered by guests. Fees per guest:Loboc River Cruise - Php 1000Tarsier Watching - Php 170Chocolate Hills - Php 100

WEDNESDAY

Wedding kicks off at 4 PM, so feel free to spend the morning lounging on the beach or exploring nearby spots. Transport will be arranged for guests staying outside Oceanica. We’ll be in touch the day before with your pickup time.

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in paradise! To make your journey as smooth as possible, here’s a simple guide to help you travel from Adelaide and Perth to our wedding destination on beautiful Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines.

Up for a little adventure? Start your trip from Adelaide with a quick stop in Singapore, HongKong, Kuala Lumpur, or Bali. Take Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Malaysia Airlines, or Jetstar to your layover city, then catch a connecting flight to Cebu with Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, AirAsia or Scoot. Once in CebuTake a 30–45 min drive to the pierHop on a 2-hour ferry to Tagbilaran, Bohol (look for OceanJet or SuperCat)Then a 30-minute drive to Panglao This route brings you into Cebu Airport, which is way nicer than Manila, and gives you the chance to explore another city along the way. The trip does take a little longer with a few extra stop and who knows, your luggage might decide to go on a mini adventure too! So whether you’re up for some extra exploring or just want to keep things easy, the choice is yours!

Getting There

Beyond the wedding festivities, there’s so much to explore — from white-sand beaches to hidden caves and island adventures. Whether you're here for a few days or extending your stay, here are some experiences you won’t want to miss:

Experience the scenic and cultural highlights of Bohol in a single day. Visit the famous&nbsp;Chocolate Hills, see the world’s smallest primates—the&nbsp;tarsiers, and unwind on a&nbsp;Loboc River cruise&nbsp;with a buffet lunch. The tour also includes stops at&nbsp;historic churches,&nbsp;lush countryside views, and other picturesque spots that showcase the island’s natural charm and history.

Experience Bohol’s Countryside

If you're up for some sun and sea (and not too hungover), join an island tour from Panglao and check out nearby islands. Balicasag is great for snorkeling with turtles, and Virgin Island has a long sandbar and floating seafood vendors. You might even catch some dolphins if you go early enough!

Go Island Hopping on a Motorized Banca

This is the most popular beach on Panglao with restaurants and bars, it’s a great spot for enjoying sunset cocktails and experiencing the local nightlife. It’s the ‘main strip’ of Panglao with lots of hotels and restaurants around the area, so it can get a little bit busy.

Experience Bustling Alona Beach

If you’re up for a little adventure, head to the eastern side of Bohol! Anda and Candijay are perfect if you want to go off the beaten path — you’ll find beautiful rice terraces, white-sand beaches, waterfalls like Can-umantad Falls, and even cave pools hidden in the hills. It’s about a 2.5-hour drive from Panglao, and while the road gets a bit winding in some parts, the coastal views are totally worth it. There are also some nice hotels and restaurants in the area if you want to stay the night, or you can also do a day tour.

Nature, Caves & Coastal Vibes in Anda & Candijay

If you're looking to explore off the beaten path, the hike at Alicia Panoramic Park (also called Binabaje Hills) is a beautiful trek offering stunning 360-degree views of Bohol’s rolling hills. The drive from Panglao to Alicia usually takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. Since it’s only about an hour’s drive from Anda, you can easily visit both places in one day if you’re feeling adventurous!

What to Do in Bohol

Let’s make our wedding celebration a tropical getaway! Here are some beachfront resorts we recommend! The first three are conveniently right next to each other—just a short walk apart. The rest are a bit farther out (around 5–10 km from our wedding venue), but still an easy tuk-tuk ride away. Most of these are also only around 5 km from Panglao Airport. And just to be clear—I definitely wasn’t talking about the 5,377 kms from Adelaide Airport... whew!
