Milos can be reached by plane or ferry from Athens, Greece. You will book your international flight to Athens first, then a separate flight (or ferry ticket) to the island of Milos from there.
How do I get around the island?
Everyone should rent a car or an ATV to travel around Milos, both are popular options. If you are traveling with a group, we recommend renting a car from the ferry port or airport (where ever you come in) to get around the island throughout your stay. Be sure to select an automatic car when booking, unless you know how to drive a manual!
What currency is used?
In Greece they use the Euro for currency. You can convert US Dollars into Euros at your bank before leaving, however most people pay by card for everything. VISA and Mastercard are most widely accepted across Europe,
What is the wedding dress code?
Island formal. We recommend the women wear colorful dresses and we recommend the men wear white dress shirts with dress pants of any color, no ties necessary.
