As much as we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this advance notice means you’re able to let your hair down and celebrate with us on the day!

Unfortunately, due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. We appreciate your understanding!

This will be a formal event! Our venue is such a beautiful mountainous area in the fall, I’d love to see those amazing burnt orange, red, dark green fall colors for gals! For men, any darker suit is perfect! **A NOTE ON HEELS: We will be walking in grass during the ceremony, so just be careful here on pointed heels that may dig into the grass a bit more! I want everyone to be safe! We all know I’ve broken my ankles enough for the rest of us; don’t need any injuries!

We’ll be up in the mountains, so although it’s September, the weather is typically more temperate. It is typically between 70-80 degrees and breezy!

The ceremony will be outdoor, and the reception will be primarily outdoor with a covering/fans! Food will be served inside, and everyone is welcome to step inside if they get too hot!

It is Eastern time!

There sure are!! The Dancing Bear site includes our wedding venue, as well as a lovely coffee shop for breakfast, and a lovely lunch spot as well. These are the Dancing Bean and Apple Valley Cafe.

You will park at the entrance of Dancing Bear! We will have a shuttle that will drive up the hill to the venue, then back down to your car afterward!

Our Coordinator has let us know that there are almost no Ubers in Townsend TN! For those flying in, I’d highly recommend either renting a car, using Turo to rent a car, or scheduling a taxi!

The shuttle will begin picking folks up at the bottom of the hill at 3 PM EST. By 3:45, it will stop picking folks up and prevent anyone else from getting to the venue! So ensure you are not late!

No problem at all! All of the food will be Gluten Free, but if you have any other allergies, the chef will accommodate and ensure you have dinner.
