What should I wear?
Our event will be dressy attire. For women, think dress, or slacks and a blouse. For men, think suit/sports coat, or dress shirt and a tie.
What is the timeline and overview of the events?
The ceremony begins at 1:00pm and will end around 2:00pm. Cocktail hour begins around 4:00pm. The Double Tree hotel, where the cocktail hour and reception will be held, is approximately 15 minutes from the church. So, guests will have some time to relax after the ceremony and before the evening festivities begin. During this time the wedding party will be taking pictures (and may relax a bit too!) Take a look at the Things to Do tab for some nearby restaurants/bars to enjoy. You could also use this time to check into your hotel. The cocktail hour is planned to be indoors, but if weather permits, there is a small adjacent outdoor patio with seating for guests to mingle. Drinks and light appetizers will be served during cocktail hour. The reception will start at 5:00pm in the ballroom. Our favorite meal is breakfast, so we have decided to serve a brunch style menu- think breakfast for dinner! After dinner, we will dance the night away in celebration with our family and friends!
Am I allowed to invite people not on my RSVP or bring a plus one?
Each invite will list the names of those invited. It will also indicate if a guest/plus one is included. We ask that you review your invitation carefully and only those invited attend the wedding. Thank you for your understanding!
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP by September 19th so we can ensure final counts are done. You can RSVP on our website under the RSVP tab. Please note: you will need to RSVP for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We look forward to celebrating with everyone!
Are Children allowed at the reception?
If your invite includes children, then they may attend the reception. Of course, if parents feel their child cannot have fun without interrupting the festivities, then we welcome your judgement to enjoy our reception without them!
Are cell phones permitted during the ceremony?
We will be enjoying an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from taking pictures so all guests can enjoy the ceremony. We have a wonderful photographer and will share our pictures afterwards!
Will transportation be provided?
Guests will be responsible to provide their own transportation to and from the ceremony and reception. Please help us keep our celebration a happy one- make transportation arrangements or stay at the reception hotel if you plan to drink. Bloomington/Normal does offer Uber, Lyft, and taxi services.
What if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
The RSVP will provide a place to list food allergies or dietary restrictions and we will try to accommodate requests.
Do we have a wedding registry?
Your presence at our wedding is what we are grateful for! If you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, we have a traditional wedding registry which can be found under the "Registry" tab above. We will also have a honeymoon fund set up at the reception for our first adventure!
Who should I contact if I have questions prior to the wedding?
You can contact either Bailey or Kolton via phone or email.
