Uptown Normal: Located right next to Illinois State University, has many unique shops and places to eat.


Downtown Bloomington: If you are looking for a good place to eat/ bar, downtown has several options for you.


Funks Grove: A family friendly nature reserve located 20 minutes outside of Bloomington. There are trails to walk as well as a shop for some of the best homemade maple syrup!


Miller Park Zoo: Located in Bloomington and features fun habitats and zookeeper interactions. There is a public park connected to the zoo as well. There is also a small trail to walk around the park, and a war memorial.


David Davis Mansion: Tour the historic home of Supreme Court Justice and Senator, David Davis. The tour includes the 36-room home, barn and stable, carriage barn, and flower and ornamental garden. The home was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1975.


Chicago: Located about 2 hours north if you're looking to extend your weekend.
