Bailey had just moved to Omaha in 2022 and was looking for employment. She went online and found a position as a child specialist at the Triage Center located at Project Harmony. She applied right away. Matt, who was the Triage Supervisor, interviewed Bailey. From the first look, Bailey noticed Matt's incredibly captivating blue eyes. Matt hired Bailey as an employee and from there, the pair became a great team when it came to navigating emotional youth and the social services world. Matt and Bailey became close friends during their time working at Triage. New Year's Eve 2022, Matt invited Bailey to go out with his friends where the pair had an amazing time with Matt buying Bailey mermaid drinks (Bailey likes whiskey) and befriending raccoons in the park. Shortly after, Matt accepted a position as a Missing and Antitrafficking Youth Specialist with Project Harmony, so Matt and Bailey went to Vincenzo's to celebrate. They stayed until close where the owner of the restaurant famously said, "He rented out the place, just for you." This is Matt and Bailey's first date, and specifically the moment Bailey fell for Matt entirely. From there on, the couple have been inseparable. Matt introduced Bailey to his wonderful three stepchildren, who have become an integral part in Bailey’s life. The pair coparent incredibly successfully with Macie, Paisley, and Aidyn’s mother, Kaylin, and continue to grow their family with the addition of Jeannie, born December 27, 2024. Matt and Bailey live in Omaha, Nebraska with their children and fur-baby, Nova, and look forward to creating more memories as husband and wife.
