We are requesting guests wear formal attire, black-tie optional. Examples include a suit and tie, pantsuit, nice cocktail dress, floor-length or midi dress.

Yes. The parage garage is located underneath Central Library, at 500 McKinney Street. The garage entrance is on Lamar Street just before Bagby Street (keep an eye out for it, as it's a side ramp and is almost hidden). Vehicles may park on the lowest level of the garage in any spot. The elevator is inside the glass lobby and will take you to the first floor of Central Library. Once on the first floor, you will exit the building to the Barbra Bush Literacy Plaza. To your left will be a large black gate, which will exit to the sidewalk of McKinney Street. Straight down this sidewalk will be the entrance to the Julia Ideson Building. Guards will be on-site to help guests with directions.

We recommend you arrive around 6:00 p.m. to accommodate for a 6:30 p.m. ceremony start time.

Light snacks will be provided at the cocktail hour, and a fajita buffet meal will be provided for dinner.
