Jake and Bailey met through mutual friends in 2006 - crammed into the backseat of a silver Nissan Murano on the morning commute to high school with ODB blasting through the speakers. It was an instant attraction that stuck throughout senior year and grew into a summer fling. But flings, by definition, come with a shelf life, as they were both headed to different universities that Fall.

Though life insisted on separate experiences, their paths continued to cross, drawn together by magnetic force and a shared clique of best friends (lovingly dubbed the Bros & Hoes). Over the years, it became more and more undeniable: these two belonged together. More than a decade after they first met - Jake and Bailey took the leap and made it official on January 15th, 2019.

Bailey moved into Jake's Jersey City bachelor pad in March 2020 - mere weeks before the pandemic hit. They spent much of that year cuddling with then-kitten (and forever queen) Maisie, dancing in a tiny living room, and getting Bailey up to speed on 7 seasons of Game of Thrones.

A year of isolation from the outside world made two things clear: they could weather any storm together, and they needed to get the heck out of the city.

In 2021, longing for the trees and farmland of their Bucks County youth, they packed up and moved to the rural-ish suburbs of Randolph, New Jersey. 5 days later, they welcomed baby Juice into their new home - the cutest puppy the world has ever known. There were celebrations, challenges, campfires, and complications, but no matter how many changes life had in store for them, they always circled back to meet each other in the middle.

Then one chilly October night deep in the forrest of the Mahlon Dickerson Reservation, Jake knelt under the full moon and asked Bailey to spend the rest of their lives together.

The best is yet to come.
