No, USD are accepted - but if you use cash, you will receive any change in Bahamian dollars. Be sure to bring cash to have on hand for your arrival to cover the taxi & water taxi to get to the island. There is a bank if you need to go to an ATM at any point during your stay, but you get Bahamian money from it. Almost all of the stores & restaurants take credit cards, but there are a few that are cash only so just be sure to ask before sitting down to a meal.
