What should I bring with me?
Your appetite, and the venue requires your ID if you plan on drinking alcohol (no matter your age!)
Are kids allowed at the wedding?
We kindly ask that our ceremony and reception be adults-only. Please only bring those whose names are addressed on your invitation and RSVP. While we adore your little ones, we’re keeping the celebration intimate with the exception of our nieces and nephews who are part of the wedding and our immediate family. If you're bringing your kids to the destination, we totally understand and recommend arranging a caregiver at the hotel during the wedding events. Thank you for understanding!
Is transportation offered to and from the venue?
If you are staying at one of the listed Somerset hotels, we are providing a shuttle service to bring guests to and from our venue. Stay tuned for further details!
Parking at the venue is available for those who wish to drive themselves.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving to the venue at least a few minutes prior to the ceremony start time so that guests have ample time to get acquainted with the venue and find their way to the ceremony location on the back deck, through the Thunderbird room.
We encourage you to come even earlier! A restaurant, bar, cigar lounge, pool table, coffee bar, and a couple of gambling machines are available at the venue location. Just make sure you’re hungry for our cocktail hour and dinner following the ceremony!
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. However, the bride and groom would appreciate if guests wear dressy casual or semi-formal attire. Also, be sure to bring your dancing shoes!
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be on a covered deck, overlooking the Laurel Highlands and Indian Lake. When you arrive to the venue, follow the signs for the Thunderbird room. The entrance to the ceremony deck will be through the Thunderbird room.
Where is the reception?
The reception will be in the Thunderbird Room, directly inside from the ceremony deck.
Are there any wedding weekend festivities surrounding the wedding day?
You will likely find the bride, groom and their families celebrating all weekend long at the lodge! Feel free to stop by for after-dinner drinks on Friday evening at the lodge, or come and extend the bride and groom farewell and well wishes at Sunday brunch before you head back home!
The lodge offers a Sunday brunch buffet from 10:00-1:00.
Is Sunday brunch buffet included with a lodge room rental?
Brunch is available at the lodge from 10:00 to 1:00 and is open to the public. It is not included with a room rental.
I’m renting a room at the lodge, how do I check in?
Upon arrival, go to the bar area and ask for a manager or staff member to check you in and provide you with your key. There is no front desk for check-in or service.
Once you’re checked in, please park on the side of the building where the lodge rooms are located. This ensures that there is ample parking for the event.
