Xavier and Baylynd had their first date on September 25th, 2021 at Marcus Des Peres Cinema after matching on Bumble! They saw a late night showing of an absolutely terrible Wes Craven movie called Shocker. After that, Baylynd and Xavier spent a year together with many more movie dates, trips to Grafton, IL, and meeting each others families! In August of 2022, Xavier moved to Biloxi, MS for training due to being in the Air Force. While Xavier spent 6 months in Biloxi, Baylynd would visit and they would eat lots of seafood, visit New Orleans, learn to play Roulette at the dazzling Boomtown Casino. After Biloxi, Xavier was sent to Mary Esther, Florida for another 6 weeks. During that time, Baylynd was on her last semester of graduate school and spent spring break with Xavier in Mary Esther. They got to feed a three toed sloth at the zoo, go to the beach, try a cronut (which was absolutely life changing, at least for Baylynd), and drink Mai Tai's while singing karaoke at the Tee-Luck Lounge. Once back from Florida, Baylynd graduated with her Master's in Higher Education and now lives with Xavier in St. Louis, while working at St. Louis Community College. On August 10th, 2023, Xavier and Baylynd got engaged in a sunflower field at Eckert's Farm in Belleville, IL.
