Becca and Thomas met at the University of Iowa, more specifically at the Voxman Music Building. There, they took classes together and saw each other often during hangouts and study sessions with all of the music majors.

October, 2018

Becca and Thomas started to hang out more outside of their classes and enjoyed each other's company. This relic is their first picture together ever!

May, 16th, 2020

The start to their relationship took off by binge watching the entire first season of Avatar the Last Airbender together. To this day, they celebrate their "Avatar anniversary" to commemorate the true start to their relationship.

February 5th, 2021

After 9 months of getting closer and even quarantining together for two weeks, Becca and Thomas officially start dating! This picture was taken on their first Valentine's Day, a week after they started dating.

May 12th, 2022

Becca and Thomas both graduate from the University of Iowa ready and excited to teach together the next school year.

August 1st, 2022

Becca and Thomas move in to an apartment in Iowa City together and find out they are great roommates!

March 11th, 2023

In Chicago, surrounded by dear friends, Thomas proposed to Becca, starting the journey of marriage together.

May 12th, 2023

After a long process of pursuing and paperwork, Becca and Thomas bought their first house together in West Liberty, Iowa!

July 5th, 2023

Their family grew for the first time as they brought home the greatest cat of all time, Bavarois Creampuff Swanson!
