Wedding Party 1

Officient

Ben Yao

Ben was one of Becca's "responsible" RAs her freshmen year at U of I at the Six Pack Garner Hall (3rd Floor!) dorms. As Becca and her friends slowly started to corrupt Ben, an Eagle Scout, they bonded over their similar upbringings, late night poker games, pulling pranks on each other, and endless nights of chaos and laughter. Ben has been there for Becca and her family/friends since and has been instrumental in helping her get through all the highs and lows that life has to offer and she couldn't ask for a better partner in crime than Ben.

Bridesmaids

Christine Lee - Co Matron Of Honor

Christine is part of a group of girls that has been Becca's longest and closest support system from Georgia and sister from another mother. As one of the 4 members of the regular wine night crew in which Chinese food was always ordered and wine was continuously poured, this group of 4 girls have weather the highs (weddings, births, MBA acceptances, new job opportunities) and lows (death, heartbreak, life woes) of our 20's and beyond together. Sharing a birthday (Oct 17) two years apart meant Christine and Becca bonded over Becca's ability to use Chrsitine's ID to get into clubs and bars before she was 21 immediately and from that point on became each other's confidants in all major life moments.

Helen Kow - Co Matron Of Honor

Helen and Becca met initially at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign but did not become friends until many years after graduation. After an event in which the two were the only ones who were willing to go to a random club in the suburbs on a work night, Becca and Helen bonded over their shared uninhibited nature, goofy sense of humor, and willingness to try new things - from making fruit towers to making videos for HGTV show applications to doing random workout videos in Becca's gym - Helen is one of the most fun, supportive, and loving best friends Becca could ever ask for!

Grace Yao - Bridesmaid

Becca and Grace have been friends since Pope High School days and she was one of the first brave souls to experience Becca's driving abilities. Several car accidents and countless misc. adventures later as high schoolers and later as 20 something "adults", she married one of Becca's best friends Ben Yao after some sneaky matchmaking.

Yoonhwa Jang - Bridesmaid

Yoonhwa is part of a group of girls that has been Becca's longest and closest support system from Georgia. No one is more fiercely loyal and protective of her girls than Yoonhwa!

Helen Guo - Bridesmaid

Helen and Becca met at Booth and formed the very exclusive "Stool" trio with their dear friend Matt. In addition to "Stool" shenanigans, Helen and Becca have experienced the best of MBA life, traveling China together, and supporting each other beyond Booth. Helen, while sober, is the more responsible party but is always willing to let Becca drag her into (sometimes questionable) adventures. However, when alcohol is involved, Becca and Helen definitely are the ones "who let the dogs out".

Sneha Soni - Bridesmaid

Sneha and Becca were in the same MBA class starting at Microsoft in 2016. While they are very different in personality and preferences, they are the perfect balance to one another and Becca could not survive Microsoft or Seattle life (skiing, happy hours, random festivals, etc.) without the love and support of Sneha!

Jasmine Balignasay-Chavez

Jasmine and Becca met through her forever fiancé Simon whom Becca attended Booth with. Jasmine has been there to support Becca in all of the ups and downs that Seattle life has offered the past 4 years and Jasmine + Simon have been integral to Becca's and Geoff's relationship in Seattle. As their closest couple friend in Seattle and most important food buddies, the pair have participated in experiencing countless new restaurant, food and culture festivals, "fancy" nights out, and even experiencing Geoff's first "Opera" together.

Cindy Nguyen

Cindy and Becca met back in 2008 when she was pregnant with her first child, Citlali (also known as Cilantro by Aunt Becca), and was the designated driver during all three trimesters, from karaoke bars to strip clubs (looking at you Pink Pony)! Three daughters (and goddaughters for Becca!) later, they still find time to connect, try to escape rooms, and visit the Pony whenever Becca is in Atlanta :P

Groomsmen

Chris Lalonde - Co Best Man

Chris (aka Lola) and Geoff met at the age of 5 when they played on the same coach pitch baseball team. The day they met was the last day they were the same height – Chris grew to 6’7 and Geoff topped out at a measly 6’1! Though physically they don’t see eye to eye, Chris and Geoff are kindred bro spirits who share a penchant for all things Seattle sports, flicking nickels at each other, and eating an ungodly amount of Uncle Tom’s cookies.

Behshad Farahmand - Co Best Man

Behshad (aka Besh) and Geoff met while working at PwC in 2011 but became buddies for life while living together in San Jose, CA from 2013 to 2014. During that time, the two played countless rounds of golf together, frequented the finest Bay Area Taquerias, and became regulars in the East San Jose nightlife scene. Both Behshad and Geoff love all things football and it’s safe to say that Geoff is the better tackler of the two. Though the great state of Oregon now physically separates these two, they still find time for frequent pilgrimages to other’s new stomping grounds.

Kellen Klein - Groomsmen

Kellen (aka K Dogg) and Geoff’s friendship goes all the way back to when they were 18 months old when they met in toddler school. The two were inseparable from a young age and were bound by a shared love for baseball, Kumon math problems, and peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. Kellen and Geoff went on numerous family vacations together and were unofficial brothers growing up. Kellen has seen more sides of Geoff than most others!

Adam Forman - Groomsmen

Adam (aka Big Form) and Geoff have known each other since elementary school but became close friends in 7th grade at Inglewood Junior High. As newly minted teenagers, the two quickly bonded over a shared passion for portraying hip hop artists in Drama class, speaking broken Español in Spanish class, and fearing talking to girls in ALL classes! Though Adam and Geoff have lived on opposite sides of the country for close to a decade, their shared love of Donkey Kong and “going crazy” has kept this BROmance alive!

Bryan Adams - Groomsmen

Bryan (aka BA) and Geoff’s time dates back to Little League baseball at age 10 but the pair became closer friends in their teenage years when their friends groups united to form a super group – akin to the Backstreet Boys. Bryan and Geoff share a mutual passion for numerous things, including but not limited to drinking Coors Light and golfing. Though Bryan and Geoff are often neck and neck while golfing, Bryan’s ability to down Coors Light is unrivaled. Bryan has proven to be a great friend in times of need, and can be counted on to lend a hand (or golf towel).

Casey Wu - Groomsmen

Casey and Geoff met while working at PwC in 2011 and quickly became brothers in arms. Casey and Geoff competed in Tough Mudder together in 2012, hiked countless mountains in the Bay Area, and went on numerous trips together (Las Vegas, Hawaii, Seattle, Tahoe). Needless to say, these two have a blast everywhere they go (plus or minus a bit). Though Geoff is now in Seattle, the two visit each other at any excuse possible, including Friendsgiving 2019!

Todd Quigley - Groomsmen

Todd (aka Mr. Quigglesworth) and Geoff met while working at PwC in 2011. The long hours in the audit room and frequent team happy hours fueled their camaraderie and a friendship blossomed. Since meeting at work, Geoff and Todd have shared many good times together, including Tough Mudder in Tahoe in 2012, a BROmantic Valentine’s day together in 2015 drinking whiskey & eating Chipotle, and numerous camping/cabin trips.

Mitch Carrigan - Groomsmen

Mitch and Geoff first met in Eastlake Little League at the ripe age of 11, when the Rangers (Geoff’s team) and the Yankees (Mitch’s team) faced off in multiple epic ballgames. While Geoff and Mitch remained friends during their time at Inglewood Junior High and Eastlake High school, their friendship soared to new heights when Geoff moved back to Seattle in 2016 and discovered Mitch worked in the same building at Amazon. Since then, these two have shared 3 seasons of Mariner’s season tickets together, hacked it up on the golf course countless times, and become great buddies!
