Black tie optional is a dress code that gives guests the option to wear formal attire, such as a tuxedo or evening gown, or more relaxed formalwear, like a suit or cocktail dress. Men: Wear a tuxedo with a black bow tie or a formal suit with a tie. Women: Wear a formal evening gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates. A floor-length dress is preferred for women but a midi or knee-length cocktail dress is also acceptable.

Children are welcome at the following weekend events; Thursday - Welcome Reception; Saturday - Breakfast at Breakfast Republic (no host), Pool Party, Duffy Boat Tour (hosted), Dinner at Harborside Restaurant (no host); Sunday - Breakfast at Wilma's Patio (no host), Beach day at Crystal Cove State Park ** Balboa Bay Resort concierge has recommendations for babysitters, if needed during the adult-only wedding ceremony and reception on Valentine's Day.

A complimentary parking lot is located directly behind Laguna Presbyterian Church. Enter the lot off of Third Street. Additional complimentary, overflow parking is available in the church lot located at the corner of Mermaid and Second Street. Paid parking garages are available on Third Street (across from the church parking lot) and also on Mermaid Street. Metered street parking is also available.

Complimentary valet parking is available at Balboa Bay Resort for up to three hours for guests attending the Welcome Reception at A+O Restaurant.

There are three parking options at Balboa Bay Resort. Valet parking is available at $20/vehicle. There is a self-park garage. There is also free street parking on Pacific Coast Highway directly outside of the resort.

There is a complimentary parking lot located behind the restaurant.

Complimentary street parking is available in the neighborhood surrounding the restaurant.

From Pacific Coast Highway, enter the park through the Reef Point entrance. When you pass the ranger station, turn left and park in the lot. Parking is $15/vehicle.
