While I'm sure we will be keeping you all quite busy, you may have a few spare moments to check out some of the local attractions. Here are some of our favorite spots, as well as some things that are quintessentially Minnesotan.
French Regional Park is a great spot if you want to fit in some outdoor recreation. This is a large park with beautiful trails, a nice beach, and great picnic facilities. They also offer plenty of equipment such as canoes and kayaks for rent.
If you're flying in, checking out the Mall of America is an easy stop on your way in or out of town. If you've never seen a mall with (multiple) rollercoasters and an aquarium, here's your chance! They also have some interesting stores and great restaurants.
Strolling downtown Wayzata is a lovely summer afternoon activity. Between the fresh breeze over Lake Minnetonka, interesting shops, and plenty of cool cars parked along Lake Street, anyone can find something of interest. Wayzata is also the location of our reception, located in 6Smith on the rooftop of the Boatworks building.
