What is the address of the venue?
The ceremony and reception will both be at Emerald Ridge- 161 Green Ridge Road, Weaverville, NC, 28787.
What's going on Friday night?
It's Halloween!! So naturally, we want to celebrate with all of you!! Bust out your Halloween costume and join us at the venue for drinks and dessert from 6:30 until about 9ish!
Am I allowed to bring plus ones or children?
While we would love to say the more the merrier, the venue does have very strict guest count limits. Please only bring those specifically listed on your invitation.
What is the best airport to use?
It is possible to fly into Ashville Regional Airport in Ashville, North Carolina (the town about 10 minutes from the venue), however this is a smaller airport. The Charlotte Douglas International Airport is about a 2 hour and 15 minute drive to the venue. This airport should have a good amount of options and is roughly the size of Milwaukee's airport. Flying into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport will likely have the most and the cheapest options. It is a large and busy airport and about a 4-hour drive to the venue.
Where should I stay?
There are a variety of options in the area! There are lots of air bnbs, and VRBOs to choose from, and we have reserved a hotel block at the Fair Field Inn and Suites just a few minutes away from the venue. The link is under the Travel heading.
What should I wear?
The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal which gives a wide range of options. Short, mid and floor length dresses are all great choices. That jumpsuit you've been dying to wear? Perfect. We would love it if you wear fall colors and bring a flannel for when it gets chilly! The ceremony and reception are both outside, but the reception area is heated. Want to change out of your heels and dance in Converse? You go girl.
Is it an open or cash bar?
There will be an open bar! Cheers! There is also an open espresso bar from 7-10 pm! Grab a hot latte, cappuccino, apple cider or tea!
Is there an after party?
Absolutely! We're moving to a different area of the venue after the wedding reception. There is a bon fire (weather permitting) and time to sober up prior to heading back to your hotels/Airbnb's.
