I met Matt... to tell you the truth I have no idea when I met Matt. I guess it must have been at Sunday School? But I don't remember ever meeting Matt, I have just always known who he was. Matt and I started getting to know each other better than knowing of each other my sophomore year of high school. Our first date was to McDonalds because Matt lied and told me he had never had a Shamrock Shake before, so that I insisted we needed to go so he could have one. We were officially a couple the fall of my junior year of high school and we've been together ever since. Now, six graduations, three apartments, and a cross country move later, and he's still my favorite ice cream date. You'll be happy to know that while my love for Matt has stayed the same, my taste in ice cream has improved, and now in March we go to Culvers to get mint Oreo concrete mixers.

HIS VERSION

I met Bella... at some point during our childhood but I could not tell you when that was. As far as I can remember we have known each other. It wasn't until high school that we really became friends. Our first date was fueling our individual ice cream addictions. This has evolved over the last ten years into a reward for whoever has the better golf round. Our story has taken us water skiing in Twin Lakes, bar hopping through La Crosse, becoming "real" adults in South Carolina, and so much more. There is no one else I would rather see a Broadway show with, and I am excited to see where our next adventures take us.

Bella's younger sister and built in bestie. You can catch them going for coffee, speaking a language that consists solely of movie quotes, and still stealing each other's clothes.

The Rizzo to Bella's Frenchy! Lauren has been Bella's best friend since they were sent to the back of the auditorium for talking too much during rehearsal for Grease their freshman year of high school.

Katie is Matt's younger sister and co-conspirator as the second middle child. While the shenanigans are now planned long distance, you can often find them plotting to blame their younger sister for whatever it is they are about to do.

Matt's younger sister and the one that catches the blame from Matt and Katie's shenanigans. Abby is Matt's go to for advice on how he should be staying physically fit. If you listen long enough you will hear Matt and Abby talking about all the food they plan on cooking this week.

Kelsey is Bella's grad school bestie, bags partner and always down for game night. Matt knows if Bella and Kels are on the phone... it's gunna be a couple hours.

Corinne is Bella's grad school bestie, musical, and movie theater friend... even if the movie doesn't come out for another year and a half.

Bella met Makayla during her internship in Gaston County and when internship ended, they only got closer. From co-workers to friends... and of course, proud members of the Friday Lunch Club.

Morgan is Bella's grad school bestie and boating buddy. They are always down for fun in the sun whether it is at the pool or the lake. The Gaston Girls three years running.

Andrew is Matt's brother and former roommate from childhood. As Matt's personal chauffer, Andrew spent far too much of his time waiting for Matt to be ready in the morning before school. If you see him at the wedding be sure to ask him about the time he spent studying abroad in Portugal.

Luke is Matt's childhood best friend. Matt and Luke met in pre-school and been best of friends ever since. Matt and Bella miss when Luke lived in Charlotte.

Joey is Matt's best friend from college. They met their freshman year and quickly realized they can go toe to toe with witty remarks. Joey was also Matt and Bella's roommate one year in college.

Colm is Matt and Bella's friend and college roomie. Matt and Colm are both surviving high school a second time, this time in charge of their own classrooms.

The second generation of childhood best friends- Brett has been one of Bella's best friends as long as she can remember. As kids they were partners for everything- bags, tennis, mini golf, tubing and ghosts in the graveyard, just to name a few.
