Our Wedding

﻿	On a chilly night of February 12th, 2021, our love story began with our first date in the charming neighborhood of Hillcrest, nestled in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas. The evening prior, I, Bella, matched with Andrew on the dating app Bumble for the third time in four months. In this app, it's up to the girl to make the first move to unlock messaging. Bella messaged Andrew, saying, 'Wow, we are really bad at this.' Andrew's response was a simple 'LOL, yes, we are. Are you free tomorrow?' And from that moment on, our conversations never ceased. Since that fateful day on February 12th, 2021, we have been inseparable. 	Our first date holds a special place in our hearts; we both light up when reminiscing about it. It was a magical night of barhopping and dining hand in hand throughout Hillcrest. And to add to the enchantment, it all happened during Valentine's Day weekend. 	They say, 'When you know, you know,' and for us, that certainty struck as we sat down for dinner at the back of Ciao Bacci for their Valentine's date night tasting menu. The chemistry between us was undeniable. &nbsp;Two days later we had our second date at Fidel and Co coffee shop, three months later I moved into Andrew’s apartment, 10 months later we moved to Northwest Arkansas together to begin new careers. 	Fast forward to July 26, 2023, Andrew got down on one knee, on a mountain of lava rocks, and asked the big question. We were on a mountain biking vacation in Southern Utah. Who would have thought we would have gotten engaged after not showering for three days straight? But I think it made it more romantic. We celebrated with champagne in coffee cups and a night’s rest under the stars. 	The past three years we have enjoyed traveling, mountain biking, cooking, hiking, and being each other’s biggest supporter. We appreciate every one of you for being part of our journey the past 3 years. We hope you all can join us for our wedding celebration in 2025.&nbsp;

Please note there are minimal rooms avaivable, as this is a smaller resort. However there are resorts I added below that are walking distance to the Mayan Pricess. Please note if a room at the Mayan Princess is not available, all hotels in West Bay are walking distance.

Quick walk from the ceremony location. Great pizza and fun bar.

Bananarama Dive & Beach Resort

Right next door to Mayan Princess and great area near shopping center.

La Placita Inn

Hotel is in West Bay. It is walking distance to the wedding venue. A luxury hotel.

Kimpton Grand Roatan Resort and Spa

This is an 8 minute walk to the wedding venue. Hotel is near fishing and boat dock so beach area can become busy.

Infinity Bay Spa & Beach Resort

This is an 8 minute walk to the wedding venue.

Paradise Beach Hotel

We do not recommend booking your hotel or plane ticket(s) through 3rd party travel companies. Ex: Expedia

Please make sure your passport is valid and does not expire 6 months out from the trip.If you do not have a passport and plan to attend the wedding, please apply for one ASAP!

Please note there are daily flights to Roatan from Miama, FL.

Roatan is most known for their beautiful beaches and wildlife. We would recommend visiting the botanical garden, snorkeling, diving, visitiong a sloth and monkey santcuary, going on a rum tasting, and just enjoy their beautiful beaches.

Day passes are avaliable at most resorts if you want a new place to hang out for the day.

Things to Do

West Bay Beach is a stretch of beach on the island with multiple resorts and restaurants within walking distance. Everything on West Bay Beach is walking distance from each other.

Wildlife. Please be respectful to the island and wildlife. Do no take anything from the ocean or touch. ie fish, coral, star-fish, and ect.

Water. Please refrain from drinking the tap water on the island. Most and all resorts provide free filtered water for their guests.

Cash. Cash is encouraged to use on the island, as credit card will charge an extra fee.
