Ceremony: Our wedding ceremony will take place at the distinguished DLA residence in Sainte-Mere-Eglise, where the groom will be adorned in his 1944 Paratrooper attire and the bride in a stunning 1944 inspired wedding dress. The ceremony will be a heartfelt tribute to love, honor, and history. Reception: Immediately following the ceremony, we invite you to stay for a lively reception at the same historic location. Enjoy a sumptuous BBQ feast, dance to the classic tunes of the 1940s, and partake in a few fun games to test your skills. There will be plenty of drinks to keep the celebration spirited and joyous. Attire: While the groom and bride will be dressed in 1944 themed attire, we encourage guests to join the fun by wearing period-appropriate outfits. However, summer business casual is perfectly fine if you prefer. The goal is to have a fun, relaxed destination wedding where everyone feels comfortable and festive. Additional Activities: In the week leading up to the wedding, a variety of engaging activities will be planned to ensure a memorable experience for all. An activity signup sheet will be available, allowing guests to choose and pay for the activities that interest them.
