Ben and Lexie start dating, after meeting at the University at Buffalo for their Freshman year.

After an emotional end to Freshman year, Lexie surprised Ben with tickets to one his favorite artists. They even got his closest friends to attend with them.

After spending the summer traveling to and from each other, Ben and Lexie decide to move in together during Sophomore year in Buffalo, NY.

With sopohmore year coming to a close, Ben and Lexie began rethinking their schooling choice. Is Buffalo really the best place for them? After researching, Lexie began proceedings to transfer to SUNY Oswego. Ben decides to finish his associates degree online.

Ben and Lexie celebrate their 1 year anniversary together.

Ben starts taking Lexie on camping trips with his family. Before him the only camping she ever did was Girl Scout camp, which was usually just an overnight event and never much fun.

Ben gains another sister, when Eric and Amanda tie the knot. Both of them were members of the wedding party.

After a full year of commuting to SUNY Oswego, Ben and Lexie finally move into their first apartment together.

The camping tradition continues with Ben's family. Cranberry Lake quickly becomes one of Lexie's favorites

Ben and Lexie visit her dad and step-mom in Florida. Ben had never been to Disney, so her parents Christmas gift to them was tickets. They spent their time tracking down characters and getting their autographs.

They graduate from SUNY Oswego with honors, and obtain their Bachelor Degrees. Ben double majored in Public Accounting and Business Administration. Lexie majored in business administration and minored in performance theater.

COVID happened and the world turned upside down. The couple was still living in Oswego, but with Ben's master degree classes fully online, they make the decision to move to Cicero, NY. During this time, they welcome Goose into their family.

Ben graduates with his Master's Degree in Public Accounting and starts a position as a staff accountant at Bower's & Company. Lexie gets back on her feet post-COVID and starts a position at another regional accounting firm, Dermody, Burke and Brown. They finally have time to take a vacation. They stay local to NYS and visit Lake George and Saratoga Springs, all while renting a cabin in the ADK region.

The camping adventures continue, this year at Wellesley Island.

Ben finally passes his final part of the CPA. He is officially a Certified Public Accountant.

As a celebration to "passing the CPA", Ben has Lexie plan a trip back to Saratoga Springs. She books a hotel and dinner reservations at a "fancy" restaurant. Ben just wants to celebrate his victory. Lexie is suspicious, but ignores it. Her best friend, Tami demands she get her nails done "just in case".

Ben (FINALLY) proposes on the false summit of Hadley Mountain. Lexie says YES. Apparently, Ben had planned to propose at the top of the fire tower, but quickly realized the anxiety of being in the fire tower (2653 ft. elevation) and Lexie being scared to initially stand-up, he needed to wait to get down before asking. (Thanks for demanding her nails be done Tami). Props to Ben for having Lexie plan her own engagement weekend, under the disguise it was to celebrate his CPA license.
