Timing and opportunity is everything and when you say yes to things and figuratively and literally lace them up, you never know what God may have in store. That's where this story starts.

It was during that phase in Covid when pickleball really hit the scene and yes this is a story of me falling in love with Beth but it first really began with falling in love with pickleball.

I actually was a fill in for this game, it was a Sunday after church and they were short a player and I was asked if I could join and I have thanked God time and time again that I said yes.

Let me tell y'all Beth’s pickleball skills was not the reason I fell for her, but in her defense this was her first time playing and she has come a long long long way. I picked her to be my partner since I had the most experience and she had the

least and I watched as she stumble and laughed and swung and missed her way through a couple hours of pickleball and even after that beautiful display of skills I still left thinking, man I would really like to get to know this girl better.

(They say to Find the Godliest girl in the room and marry her well I found mine on a pickleball court)
