Where should I fly into?

- For most guests, SFO is the most practical choice. It's about 30-45 minutes from Half Moon Bay (depending on traffic). Oakland and San Jose airports are options as well. They're about 45-60 mins from Half Moon Bay.

What should I wear?

-Attire is dressy casual. We want our guests to feel relaxed, comfortable and jovial. There are also no official wedding colors, so don't worry about that.

What's the weather like?

- Half Moon Bay in August has an average high of 66F/19C and an average low of 54F/12C. Rain is extremely rare but you may feel the gentle mist of the fog rolling off the ocean. Having a sweater or a light jacket at night is never a bad idea.

Will the wedding be outdoors?

- Yes, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be on the hotel's grassy lawn (although in the unlikely event of bad weather it will be moved inside). The dinner and reception will be indoors at the adjacent Gate House banquet hall.

Is there parking?

- Yes, there's a huge parking lot at the Shoppes at Harbor Village, as well as an underground garage beneath the Oceano.

What if I don't want to drive?

- That's cool! We recommend scheduling Ubers/Lyfts in advance of when you'd like to get picked up. Half Moon Bay is a bit remote, so we strongly advise scheduling a ride in advance.
