Head down to the ocean front and snag a picture with the iconic Neptune on the boardwalk. There are lots of great beach shops and restaurants along the boardwalk, but beware of tourist traffic!

If you need a break from the city and beach life, enjoy a quick hike through First Landing State park. There are 19 miles of trails to enjoy along with beach access. Entrance fees are $4 on Friday and $5 on the weekend.

What is a trip to the beach without going to the local aquarium? Located near the ocean front, the Virginia Aquarium has over 800,000 gallons of saline to explore as well as hands-on exhibits, nature path, and marshlands.
A local favorite of Bethany and Josh's, Maker's offered a variety 'drinkable' beers and an impressive cigar bar. Pop over for a beer, radler, and/or a cigar and enjoy their large outdoor space with plenty of Adirondack chairs.
Another one of Bethany and Josh's local favorite spots for a craft beer, wine, or specialty coffee. Cova is a unique -pour yourself - brewery with a bakery and coffee shop attached inside. Cova is great place to stop by during during the day for a variety of drink options, food truck and bakery snack options, and a taste of the ocean view relaxed atmosphere.
