When should I book my Accommodations?
We recommend you book your accommodations as soon as you can, as Door County is a popular area to visit in the summer months. Our wedding block & rate at the Alpine Resort & Cottages is only guaranteed until March 5th! Please see the Accommodations page for our recommendations.
How do I make my reservations at the Alpine Resort & Cottages?
Online reservations can not be made as the room block prevents them. Guests must call the Alpine Resort & Cottages to book. Deposit is 50% to reserve the cottage/room and balance is due at check in. Should you have any questions or concerns, please give the Alpine Resort & Cottages a call at 920-868-3000 ext 1 and they will be happy to assist you!
When will the room block at the Alpine Resort & Cottages for September 4th & September 5th be open to the public?
Our room block will be released to the public on March 5th, 2024 at the end of the business day// 6 months before our wedding date.
After March 5th, 2024- will we still be able to book rooms for September 4th and September 5th at the wedding block rate?
After the wedding block dates have been released to the public (March 5th, 2024), unreserved rooms/cottages would not be guaranteed the wedding block rate.
When can we extend our reservations at the Alpine Resort & Cottages to Friday, September 6th or Saturday, September 7th?
On March 6th, our wedding guests will have first rights to any rooms/cottages available for Friday, September 6th + Saturday, September 7th. Availability is NOT guaranteed as the Alpine is hosting another wedding on Saturday, September 7th. Please wait until March 6th to see if there is availability to extend your stay. If you know you may want to extend your stay, please let the staff know at the time of booking your reservation for our wedding block. They can place notes & assist with follow up.
Where are the nearest airports?
Door County is ~75 minutes from the nearest airport, shuttles are not available and will require getting a rental car or personal driver. Below are the nearest airports and their proximity to Door County. You can find our recommended Personal Drivers on our "Getting Around" tab.

Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party at our reception. We thank you for understanding!
