I met Karoline in 2021 when she joined the cross country team at Cedarville. From the first time we talked, I knew we were going to be friends. We like to joke that we “think exactly the same” about things. She also loves adventuring and being outside, so we've been able to go on some fun trips together. Karoline has encouraged and supported me so much throughout the years and I am so thankful for her friendship.

Remi and I both joined the cross country team at Cedarville in 2018, which is where we first met. Even though she outsprinted me by less than a second in the last stretch of our first college 5k, she easily became one of my closest friends. Through many runs, coffee study sessions, walks, and just a lot of time spent together, we became really close. My friendship with Remi has helped me grow in so many ways, and I am thankful she is one of my lifelong friends.

If you asked Alayna and I during our freshman year of college if we would ever anticipate being such close friends, we both would have laughed and said no way. I learned that she loved hunting (and even took a bite out of a deer heart) and tag. But as I got to know Alayna more, I realized what an incredible, authentic person she is. She has given me so much wisdom and encouragement in my faith over the years. She has such a heart to see people come to know Christ and a boldness that will always inspire me. And she'll be coming all the way from China for this wedding, so please join me in praying for safe travels for her.

I have a journal prayer request from early in 2018 that I would be able to room with another freshman runner at Cedarville. The Lord graciously answered that prayer through Macy! We roomed together for two fun years at Cedarville before Macy transferred. Five years later, in the summer of 2023, Macy and I were roommates again at an apartment in Columbus! Macy is one of the kindest and most joyful people I know, and her faith amid trials has taught me so much.

I have loved getting to know Hannah more over the last year. Just like the whole Yun family, Hannah has been so kind and welcoming to me since the beginning of my relationship with Caleb. Some things I admire about Hannah are her gentle confidence, caring heart, and artistic abilities. She designed our save-the-date cards (seemingly effortlessly) and has created so many cool projects. Most recently, she introduced me to K-dramas, and okay... maybe I'm hooked. I am so excited to have her as my sister-in-law!

Rachel and I joke that our friendship began when our moms set us up on a playdate about 9 years ago. My mom met Rachel on a walk and told me I should hang out with her. I wasn't sure what to expect, but after a few hours of exploring the marsh and bonding over seeing a seal, we quickly became friends. Rachel is one of the most genuine and funniest people I know. It is always a highlight of my trips to Maine to see her and catch up. From prom dress shopping in 2018 to wedding dress shopping in 2024, she has been such a sweet friend.She always makes me laugh and brings so much joy to my life.

Shaun And I have been doing life together for as long as I've been around. God has blessed me with him and he has been a huge encouragement and part of my life.

I grew up with my cousin Anderson and have always looked up to him. We share many fond memories of all the times spent together from when his family lived in Washington, Illinois, Indiana, and when Anderson went to Wheaton.

Kersey and I ran together in high school. Our friendship has continued into college and we enjoy the ways we can encourage one another in Christ.

Callarman and I met on the Cedarville University. cross country team. He has always been a reliable friend to me and we have gone on many important adventures together.

Jack has been a good friend and roommate. He has really encouraged me in my walk with Christ. We hope to become an iconic duo.

Austin is a close cousin of mine. I enjoy the times we get to spend together and all the experiences we have shared.
