Bridgeport holds a very special place in the Bride's heart. It's the neighborhood where her paternal grandparents settled down after immigrating from Croatia in the 1940's and where her dad grew up. It is in this neighborhood where the Velcich family's loyalty was cemented for the Chicago White Sox and where the Bride attended her first baseball game at Comiskey Park. Returning to this very special place always feels like going home.
