The luck of the Irish was certainly on Jeff and Bethy's side that St. Patrick's Day in 2010 when they first met. At a glance, this seemed like many of the other love stories that start at DePauw University, but little did Jeff and Bethy know that their beginning had been in the works for quite some time without them even knowing. A close friend of Bethy's had met Jeff a few months prior and instantly thought they would make a great couple--and boy, was she right! From the moment they were introduced, Bethy was hooked on Jeff's charm and he with hers.

In 2015, Jeff made the big move to Chicago from his hometown of Cincinnati to be near Bethy and to attend graduate school at DePaul University. Together, Jeff and Bethy have experienced many wonderful things like visiting the magical world of Harry Potter, trekking up the Empire State building, hiking the Sleeping Bear Dunes and even exploring the beautiful country of Thailand!

On March 3, 2018, Jeff asked Bethy to spend the rest of her life with him and she said 'yes'! Nine St. Patty's Days have come and gone, and both can without a doubt say they found their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that night in the Phi Delta Theta courtyard at DePauw. They are so excited for this next adventure in their story and are looking forward to sharing it with family and friends!
