This is me, Shreya, telling our story:

I met Bhanu in NITK, Surathkal (our undergrad college) in 2014. I was in my first year and 17, while Bhanu was my senior and in second year. I was auditioning for a dance spot in the Akal Bhangra dance team where Bhanu was already a member. Turns out, I get selected and become Bhanu's dance partner (sincerely hope the selection was not rigged :P). As we spent the next few weeks practicing dance routines and drinking oreo shakes (I was a teetotaler), sparks flew and love blossomed as we embarked on the next chapter of life together.

It's been about 10 years since then. Basically, we grew up together. Our 10 year tenure was marked by inter-continent long-distance, a long engagement, visa issues and months of not meeting each other. We both are ambitious people and it is not easy managing love and ambition together. A lot of people don't believe when I tell them that we got to share the same house address after 10 years :P.

If you ask me, I feel the things that has kept us together through all the ups and downs is the love and non-stop fun that we have in each other's company. We still giggle together, dance together, sing together and bitch together like old times :P
