We met in 2016 at Loyola Academy High School. Blair had just moved from Richmond, VA to Chicago at the start of our junior year, and was in David's Catholic Ethics class. We had mutual friends, but never really talked to each other until we were randomly paired for an assignment and had instant chemistry.

We talked to each other in class for the rest of the year, but our paths didn't cross much until months later when the Cubs won the World Series. Both of us were "sick" from school that day and were there with the same group of friends. We spent the whole afternoon in the city, but were mostly focused on each other.

Our friend group began to form, and we got to spend more and more time getting to know one another. Gradually, we began spending time just the two of us and finally decided to go on a date for ice cream at Graeter's Ice Cream in February of 2017, the first of many dates. David asked Blair to prom later that year.

After graduation, David attended Indiana University and Blair went to THE Ohio State and we committed to doing long distance for all four years of college, cherishing any visits, holidays, or vacations along the way. After college, we moved in to our first apartment in Evanston with our cat Kiki, and a year later moved to Chicago's Gold Coast Neighborhood.

On August 9th, 2022 David took Blair to dinner at the J. Parker and proposed later that night in our apartment, where she said yes!

We are grateful to have had so many wonderful years growing together as friends and partners. Thank you to all our family and friends who have been an integral part of our journey together. Cheers to a lifetime of love, thank you for being a part of our story!
