In the summer of 2018 Katie had just moved to Spokane, WA to finish undergrad and Blake had just began his postgrad life. Both of them were ready for a fresh start and a carefree summer. Little did they know that the two of them would meet through mutual friends.

Katie went to dinner with some friends one night and finally found other people who enjoyed watching The Challenge (the oldest competition show probably out there). Her new friend Eric invited her over to his apartment to watch the latest episode and she had no idea that he had a roommate named Blake. 4 days before Katie turned 21, she finally made it over to the apartment, formerly known as Full House, and met Blake. The two bonded instantly and one random night of watching TV turned into weekly and soon thereafter, daily hangouts. They quickly bonded through their love for Thai Food, Rum and Cokes, Trash TV Shows, and of course The Challenge.

The rest is history and to this day they have not missed a single season of The Challenge. The only difference is Katie's TV lineup now consists of 7 hours of commercial free football 6 months out of the year.
