CD’s best friend from Camp Sealth and Western! Tegan and CD moved to Nashville together after college, embarking together on the "what comes next" of adulthood. That means they were also there for the very start of CD and Blake’s relationship. Tegan’s sense of humor is unmatched and is as loyal of a friend as you’ll ever find. They're frequently found knitting, thrifting, or watching/reading something due to their great taste in media (IWTV’s #1 fan).

Mitchell is one of Blake’s closest friends. They met through their partners, and quickly realized how much they shared in common. From the love of their dogs to their obsession with DnD, Mitchell is frequently the easiest person in the room to strike up a conversation with. He's strong not only in the physical sense (shout out rock climbing!), but also strong of heart and stands strong in his morals. Also, who doesn't love the boys in blue (USPS)?!

Shadow came into Blake’s life and Immediately picked up the Goth Father title. Since being in their life Shadow has gone above and beyond to show his love and support for CD and Blake.

Lani and CD became friends in Nashville when they both lived on 13th Street! Blake first met them when he came to help Merit move in with Lani, and we’ve all been best friends since. Lani knows how to make people feel safe and authentically seen, and also knows how to decorate the hell out of a living room.

Merit and CD quickly bonded over their love of math rock, and the fake band “Sloth Moth” was started with Lani not long after. Blake was quickly added to the mix after helping them move in on 13th Street. Now having helped Merit move across the country to New York as well, they’re stuck with us and our love long-term. Merit is musically savvy, kind-hearted and earnestly protective. Go Birds!

Liz and Blake met through a shared love of poetry and frogs, which is still going strong today. Liz is a shoe aficionado whose style and creativity is unmatched. They've never met a challenge that they couldn't surmount without ease and some good old comedic relief. Liz has a gift for making people feel seen, even in their most specific habits (like how CD eats their Kit Kats) or raunchiest of jokes #pinklemonade

Astro and Sunflower (Emily and CD) quickly bonded at Camp Sealth as two of the few midwestern counselors, and have stuck together through the years via their love of yapping, cheese, and a good body of water. Emily’s spirit exudes warmth and magic, and they always seem to know exactly what to say.

Mac was CD's first roommate and saw them through their first tattoos, first break-up, and first (and only) gallbladder removal. Mac is incredibly smart and is killing it in her graduate school program, but has a knack for never making people feel dumb. She loves her beautiful cats, a good bowl of cereal, and sending memes on social media... oh and her husband, Evan!

Evan began dating Mac around the time that CD started living with her, and the banter has been never-ending ever since. Despite their joking quips, CD has always admired Evan's ability to make people feel heard in the loudest of rooms. He's the true definition of an ally to CD and Blake's communities and organizations, and is the first to speak his mind about the injustice around him. He's a supportive husband, loving cat-dad, and York peppermint patty fiend.
