Mary Emeline and I met at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama while studying abroad in London, England. We’ve been inseparable ever since and also probably intolerable to be around given the number of inside jokes we share. Mary Emeline has been a constant source of encouragement and joy in my life!

CadeAnn and I went to law school together at Alabama - we lived together for my first two years (before she graduated/abandoned me for D.C.). We enjoy many of the same things - strange animals, fancy resorts, and finding joy in the absurdity of everyday moments. I can always count on CadeAnn for sound advice and an even sounder itinerary.

Leanna and I graduated from law school together and lived together our last year and pre-bar exam summer. Leanna somehow made studying for the bar bearable, which is a true testament to her bubbly personality. Fashion and reality TV are our love languages! Anytime we’re together, there’s sure to be lots of laughter.

Jaclyn and I grew up together in Opelika/Auburn; I really can’t remember a time before Jaclyn! She stayed friends with me through the awkward middle school and high school years, so she’s definitely a true friend! We enjoy trying new recipes (sometimes successfully), traveling, and cat videos!

Sam served his best man duties well at our elopement in New Hampshire! We know he will be celebrating with us from afar during the Birmingham ceremony.

My baby brother-in-law, Jake and I have had lots of fun times since we became family. I was so happy to fulfill his lifelong dream of getting near Canada by coming to the NH ceremony. Can't wait to travel the world a bit more with my little Auburn boy.

Although he technically became a cousin-in-law in 2018, Anthony has been more of an older brother to me for the past 20+ years. Our childhoods were split between playing wiffle ball at the beach in Maine and playing football in the snow in NH. It's only a matter of time until we watch the Auburn Tigers play football in much warmer conditions.

Nick lived on my freshman hall at Rochester and we were fast nerdy friends! We managed to survive the snow and tunnels, and we may have disrupted a lecture here and there in the name of fun. Although academia has taken us to various institutions since Rochester, we still take time to laugh with each other from afar.

When I first met Jeremy, I thought we were competing for the same graduate student position at UAB. Luckily our mentor had a different idea, and we have been joined at the hip throughout our time at UAB. Despite the workload, Jeremy and I have always been able to have a good time in Birmingham. Also, fun fact: Jeremy and I grew up about 20 miles from each other but only met in AL!
