Here's a carpooling sign-up sheet if anyone wants to collab to/from Denver/go green: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-MPqLfhKQ1Tacv-Yi9Kow_g7qy3DT-FXWQmF1KPz2fo/edit
May I bring a date?
Since this is a fairly small gathering, please only bring yourself unless you find an additional name associated with yours when you RSVP on our website. We tried our best to send out invites via email to every single person, including plus 1s. If you're unsure, please text Corey.
Can we bring our kids?
As much as we love your kids, no.
What should I wear??
Semi-formal...use the wedding scene from Princess Bride as a reference, but tone it down by like, 90%. The ceremony will be outdoors, so make sure to bring some sort of light jacket. There will be games and stuff too, so wear what you’ll be comfortable in while playing corn hole and giant Uno. Also, please no stilettos.
How’s the weather up there?
Warm and dry. Temperatures will likely range between 45-70 degrees and afternoon thunderstorms are always possible. All you need is a light jacket!
What do I need to know about high altitude?
(1) The air up there is paper-thin, so don't hate yourself if you're always out of breath (2) DRINK WATER CONSTANTLY (3) Alcohol hits you much quicker up there, so take it easy, Uncle Jim.
How close is the nearest airport?
Denver International Airport (DIA) is about a 1.5-2 hour drive to Silverthorne.
Eagle County Regional Airport is a little over an hour drive to Silverthorne.
How do I get to/from/around Silverthorne?
We suggest renting a car or carpooling with other guests. Keep your eyes peeled for a carpooling spreadsheet! There are also shuttles and bus options. Please see the "Travel" tab for more info.
How do I avoid I70 traffic?
If your schedule is flexible, avoid driving up on Friday afternoon and back to denver on Sunday afternoon.
Will Boyd be there?
I certainly hope so.
Can I feed the wild animals and pick the wildflowers?
Please don't. They are precious. It's also against the law.
Is smoking allowed?
If you're going to smoke, please do so outside and far away from the festivities. Please be extremely careful with your ashes and butts. Colorado loves its forest fires, but aint nobody got time for that.
Heck yeah! Legal pot! Can I smoke the gange in public?
No lol. You must be on private property and it's illegal to drive while stoned, so make smart choices. Magic mushrooms are not legal either, so don't believe what you read on Reddit.
